The system is AD&D. Character creation is usually at the table. It takes usually only 10-15 minutes.

I think we still have space at the table. Our DM @H should confirm soon.

Sure. We’re playing AD&D, an older edition. But it’s also easier than the newer ones.

Strictly speaking, it’s Moldvay Basic with a dash of AD&D added for good measure, but same general idea.

Either way: no prior rules knowledge required for this game.
