We’ve also been asked that people limit gathering right outside the door as much as possible. Short smoke breaks aren’t a problem, we just don’t want to disturb the neighbors.
Post below if you are coming - all tables are open. Players of any level of experience are welcome.
Just wanted to add this here as we will be trying something new this week. In an effort to make organization a little easier, we’d like to ask DMs to include a maximum player limit when they post.
The reasoning behind this is so that our DMs are running tables sizes that they are comfortable with. Some DMs are comfortable running 10-player tables; others might prefer just 4. We want to respect their comfort levels which then allows for better experiences for both players and DMs. We can then also more accurately see how many DMs we need for the number of people coming. That then helps reduce how much we need to shuffle people around to even tables out.
Of course, as with everything, this isn’t a strict rule, but a guideline. DMs can still choose to let in an extra player if they want to. But that is purely up to them.
As this is something we’re trying out, any and all feedback is welcome.
Will be there for Ratterdam, not sure which character I’ll play. Most likely either Artano (Level 16 Chronurgist/Echo Knight) or Blackie again (Level 15 Necromancer/1 Artificer).
I’ll come and would try to DM the T1 adventure “The rise of the Necromancer” if there are enough players (I would take max. 6). Otherwise I will just be there as a player and run the adventure some other time.
Disclaimer: Should I run the adventure, be aware that this would only be my second time DMing, so please be patient with me… (and it would be great if there are at least a couple of experienced/familiar players at my table )
My lvl 12 (max level as decreed by @Janlocks) Yuan-Ti Cleric named Apothecary “Flashbang” Johnson will stand at the ready to undertake any necessary unholy task in Ratterdam!
@Tea007 I would absolutely want to be a player but sadly, I cannot divide myself (as of yet). Will see you there and wish you the best of games.
Since the other DMs also had the chance to declare it: What is your preferred player character level in your adventure? The full range from 1 to 4? In case you want to fine-tune this, it’s quite nifty to do.
Was about to ask the same question, I could have brought Ellos up to Lv15, but as instructed will keep him at level 12. May the best tentacle win Cassius
Also @Tea007 would have loved to join your table, should Jan’s table overflow, I might jump ship in any event, wish you best of luck for your second time as a DM. More power to newbie DMs
