You can regain some of your magical energy by sitting in meditation and communing in your temple in Port Verge. During a short rest in your temple, you choose expended spell slots to recover. The spell slots can have a combined level that is equal to or less than 10, and none of the slots can be 6th level or higher (e.g. you could regain two 4th level plus one 2nd level spell). You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
Hewguard (by PatrickD)
Hewguard is the only goblin with a Dragonmark … and it is also the Mark of Death. This certainly will lead to several powerful groups in Eberron having an interest in this epic bugbear … the goblin warlods of Darguun, the mysterious “Eva Green”, the other Dragonmarked Houses, the Dragons themselves and not to mention his (former?) allies in House Tarkanan …
- Hewguard looses the Knowledge Worm story award. So he is no longer trained in Religion.
- Hewguard looses his Aberrant Dragon Mark, so he no longer has access to this bonus Feat.
- this means he also looses his Epic Boon of Prowess
- this also means, that he looses his House Tarkanan story award
- Hewguard looses all remaining Fate points, since he has successfully defied destiny and saved the world
- thanks to the sacrifice of Blast (by @ThatGuyTed) his Mark of Death has been awakened; so he gains the following homebrew story award:

- Thunder and Lightning turn into wind and disappear … to maybe be found in the next Age by another hero
- Hogar looses all remaining Fate points, since he has successfully defied destiny and saved the world
- Since he forged a bond between Orcs and Tieflings he gains the following story award:
