The Cave Fisher Clan, who are also camping in Hillcross, seem to have bad history with the Burning Mammoth Tribe, your enemies. Once part of the Nautilus Tribe, they travel alone and their numbers are dwindling. Maybe there is a way to incorporate even more followers into the Tribe of the Broken Tusk. cost: 10 Downtime Days (another PC can spend 5 Downtime Days to half this cost)
as well as 1200 rations (one other PC can contribute)
note:is a bit harder now since the Burning Mammoth Tribe is close
The Charging Rhino Clan, who are also camping in Hillcross, seem to have bad history with the Burning Mammoth Tribe, your enemies. Recently they have lost many members to frost giants. Research the Artefact (even more)
prerequisite: being proficient in Arcana or Religion
You research the Primordial Flame, the artefact you found in the last adventure. note: casting the legend lore spell as well awards you additional information note: this can be done by multiple characters cost: 10 Downtime Days & 100 rations
mobs will take half damage from attacks, spells and effects, that target only one creature
mobs will take double damage from spells and effects, that target multiple creatures
mobs have advantage on saving throws against spells and effects that target only one creature
mobs cannot be grappled
mobs that hit with a melee attack roll, also can try to grapple a non-mounted character
Megafauna Riding
when you take damage, you have to pass a Strength saving throw to not “loose” your mount
the DC for this saving throw is 1/2 the damage taken … minimum 10
characters with the Mounted Combatant Feat gain advantage on this saving throw
failing this save dismounts you, and you are prone (unless you are a Cavalier)
while mounted, you can Charge:
when you move at least 20 feet in a straight line and hit with a melee weapon attack, you can make one melee weapon attack as a bonus action against the same target
while mounted, your steed grants you additional features:
Smilodons Speed 50 feet & 1“Legendary Resistance” to stay on your mount
Mammoth Speed 40 feet & your melee attacks deal x2 damage against Mobs (s.a. )
Pteranodon Speed 60 feet (flying) & you have Disadvantage on Strength saving throws
Triceratops Speed 50 feet & you gain half-cover torwards your front facing
if you don’t have a mount (or want a different one),
you can get one with the“Tame Megafauna”Downtime Activity
