Rules for Mass-Combat & Megafauna-Riding
Mobs
- mobs will take half damage from attacks, spells and effects, that target only one creature
- mobs will take double damage from spells and effects, that target multiple creatures
- mobs have advantage on saving throws against spells and effects that target only one creature
- mobs cannot be grappled
- mobs that hit with a melee attack roll, also can try to grapple a non-mounted character
Megafauna Riding
- when you take damage, you have to pass a Strength saving throw to not “loose” your mount
- the DC for this saving throw is 1/2 the damage taken … minimum 10
- characters with the Mounted Combatant Feat gain advantage on this saving throw
- failing this save dismounts you, and you are prone (unless you are a Cavalier)
- while mounted, you can Charge:

- when you move at least 20 feet in a straight line and hit with a melee weapon attack, you can make one melee weapon attack as a bonus action against the same target
- while mounted, your steed grants you additional features:

Speed 50 feet & 1 “Legendary Resistance” to stay on your mount
