I’ll be along to dm a T1! Preferably higher-leveled for the adventure I’ve planned (lv3-4). CW: horror theme, so expect some undead to be involved.

Welcome aboard! I just wanna ask, or rather point out… our rules only allow you to make characters at the start of our tiers. So a fresh character would have to be made at either lv1 (for T1) or lv5 (for T2)

You can’t directly play “out of VALUE” characters at VALUE games.

However, you can absolutely take that character and create essentially a copy at either level 1 or level 5, while making sure that you follow our house rules (see link in the first post for that).

If you have played your Bard at AL games (e.g. D&D Adventurers League Singapore) then you can play this character here too.

If your character is from a home game, then you can’t.

… as katnyx has already stated correctly, you can def. recreate any character at levels 1 or 5.

I will be happy to start a new character… @katnyx Question. I have a character level 3 which i played a while back (around early december). Could i switch that one character? Otherwise i’ll have to start at level 1 but i don’t mind if i’m weaker than optimal. I just didn’t get to play lotta t1 lately.

Is there a reason you don’t wanna play that lv3 character?

So my main concern is making sure people know what rules we have. I do not make decisions about what can be played at other people’s tables. Which means I can’t answer that :slight_smile:

  • if you have played this PC only in VALUE games, then it should not be a problem :slight_smile:
  • if the PC is from a home-game then just make a level 1 :slight_smile:

@JustJules So i got this “build” out of my system playing it on bg3 but even more so, it’s a character i made to play with my girlfriend who tried ttrpg for the first time. She decided for now she doesn’t want to proceed and I feel like this character “belongs with hers”.

@katnyx I was asking about the rules so no worries thanks :smiley: @Darthbinks gave me the answer ^^ Yes I have only played it in VALUE games, that’s the reason I asked!

I would love to play this Friday. But since I’m new, I’ll probably need some help creating a character, and it’d be level 1. Could I join this anyway?

You could come in a bit early, like half an hour earlier to create the character. As for joining my game… if there’s more a need for lower levels than higher, I could run a lv1-2 adventure. Or maybe someone else comes to dm

I’m also fine skipping this one if you’d rather have higher level T1, don’t mind checking it out another week.
