Hi everyone! I’m new here, looking forward joining a campaign soon Im 29, from Vienna and pretty new to tabletop RPGs. I’ve played a little bit already, but I’d really like to start playing a lot more and being excited to meet new people here​

If you’re okay with playing one-shots (that allow for leveling and character persistence amongst games) then your easiest way to play is joining one of our “V.A.L.U.E.” meetups that happen every Friday at 7pm (two locations) and Saturday 12pm and usually have lots of open tables.

Im new and still figuring out how everything works here, but I would love to join as a player if there is still a free spot.

So how it works is that you pick one of the three event threads and say you’re a new player and wanna play.

As a new player you’re looking for a Tier 1 game (that’s level 3 characters) so you can write that too.

At the moment it’s still early in the week and there’s no Tier 1 game having been announced yet, but that might change once someone (you!) shows interest

Welcome! As you haven’t specified the type of RPG you want to play → At the VALUE Fridays (and now also Saturdays again) there are two main game systems being played:

DnD (Dungeons and Dragons) (mostly 5e but sometimes also the newer rules that came out in 2024) → played at all locations
Daggerheart → so far only played at WoWKeepers on Fridays (unless I missed something)

We do also play other systems that come up from time to time. For example there has been a very consistent VtM (Vampire the Masquerade) table at WoWKeepers recently and the occasional game of Mothership, Alien, Call of Cthulhu and so on.

The table you want to join always depends on what you’re interested in but if you’re fully new to RPGs → DnD and Daggerheart are good places to start.
