Imperium Maledictum: Warhammer 40,000 RPG in a hive city on a knight-world
RT-87 “Resounding Torch” is the capital of this world, a huge urban arcology known as a ‘Hive city’ - immense, self-contained, many-layered structures that reach high into the sky, each housing billions of individuals.
Players are troubleshooters making sure the Imperial Tithe is paid and nothing goes wrong to draw the notice of the Imperium Arbites (or worse, the Inquisition)
Themes of investigation, grim & perilous adventures, noir-in-space.
Aim to be episodic within ongoing arc.
Mechanics are from Imperium Maledictum core book. Handy character builder here.

We have looked into the archives of both the Tithemaster followed by the Parts Marshall and have come to the conclusion that the archaeotech is somehow entering from the bone parts factories down in the underhive and are currently down trying to locate the source of that in cooperation with one of the council of Bonecog Grading to ascertain what is happening from here. More updates to follow.
Ancillary Note During the investigation we also noticed that there seems to be interest from the royal parks mechanicus into some blueprint about Conqueror robots. For further inquiry maybe, see intermediate report submitted about the attempted theft from the Tithemaster’s office.

We were investigating the caravans or transports that were coming into the bone craft workshops. from these caravans we asked two groups. One where they some kind of gang called Chapter 71 workers collective and the other one were the adeptus mechanicus.
the collective told us there is now increasing craziness happening at the bone reclamation sites as they are now at times coming in like full on carcasses with flesh still attached and that’s very lucrative thing and everyone’s fighting about it and now there is a lot of ruckus down there.
the adeptus mechanicus told us basically the same thing but with spreadsheets. So there’s a lot of things happening in the bone reclamation sites and we suspect that perhaps there are some of these carcasses are not coming from the regular places, i.e. Like the slaughterhouses, but somewhere else. Apparently there is maybe some sort of chute at some place that they can get things inside the city from outside. Maybe not too much overwatch of who they are coming from.
Ancillary Note Also there’s flesh-eating bees..
