The Princess Throne Squad (black ops unit) returned to base, late (due to losing the Vermissian map of shortcuts) but in a celebratory mood - Lord Errin Jubilant-The-Devoted had been struck down, along with his escort, with the help of Zid on Black Guard duty. The Ministry celebrated the demise of its latest enemy, already drawing up plans for the further dismantling of the DCF. But the good mood was short-lived - there were reports already the next morning that Lord Errin Jubilant-The-Devoted was in Council meetings and seeing influential aelfir. The Black Ops leadership in Throne grilled the Princess Squad, but too many pieces of evidence suggested their initial reports were truthful; the ceremonial sword was on-site, and the escort was found in official records. So the seemingly impossible had happened - Lord Errin Jubilant-The-Devoted had been brought back to life. However, the Ministry research into the Vys virus and the barrels brought to the festival have led to some new ideas of their centre of distribution - a research centre near the Solar Basilica in the University of Magic. The Ministry wants you to sneak in and see if you can find any information on the source of the virus or how Lord Errin Jubilant-The-Devoted is being brought back to life. At least it seems so far that the activities are so secretive that it does not have an increased DCF security detail!

As before, I have attached all the materials needed to create a character from the choice of 15 classes. These characters have resistances (Blood, Mind, Silver, Reputation and Shadow) that can be impacted in the game instead of hit points. You should start with the Spire Characters file first if you would like to create a character, as it gives all the necessary approach directions. An extra piece of help, however, is that if you are provided the same Domain or Skill twice, you can gain a Knack, which allows you to roll with mastery. A knack is a more focused version of the domain or skill. For example, if you got the Fight skill twice, you could choose to have a knack in fighting with blades and you could roll with mastery whenever you fought with a bladed weapon.
