Hey guys, I’ll be there on Thursday as well! Total beginner here (minus one very enjoyable and silly game of Sherpa with -H-) so I’m essentially at your beck and call, and willing to jump in/start fresh with pretty much anything.

I’ll have things to do during the day tomorrow that may last too long to allow me to attend the rpg session… If i do not show up at 7:30pm, don’t wait for me, then…

I’m thinking this through right now…
None of the started games seem ideal to continue under these circumstances (AW - 2 people missing; Gormendark not intended for late joiners anyways; Forest of Life - 1 person missing, two or more potential joiners…)
Hm, I guess I’ll come prepared to either run some Forest of Life action, or we can try out something entirely new after all, and playtest my recent “Jedi World” hack (Apocalypse World goes Jedi-centric Star Wars)…?
… Or revert to the original plan entirely and let -H- start his indie campaign… but knowing him, I don’t think he’ll be too happy about the short notice, perhaps…
At worst, I can step in and improvise something…
No go on the indie thing* this week, I’m afraid (in part because I don’t want to saddle anyone with a multi-week commitment who might rather be doing other things).
I was actually planning to run an old-fashioned D&D adventure this week. After the previous game, I feel that I owe darthkiwi another slightly more cohesive scenario, and I always think it’s nice to see where the whole thing started when jumping into these games of ours.
So sure, we could do that if you like. Looks like it would be a good party. I’m open for anything, of course.

old school D&D sounds fine to me! This way I won’t have to bend any existing games to make them fit today’s player constellation - and have another week or so to tinker with the Jedi game, too
