sorry to leave you guys high and dry, but i won’t be able to make it. feel free to continue without me as i’ll be away until march. hope to see you then. ;]
I think so far, the most likely plan (which always changes anyway) is:
Tomorrow: Dungeon World part two plus Cops part deux
Next week: Mountain Witch (part one of two?) plus the suddenly en vogue Shadows of Esteren (one-shot)
That way, we can reshuffle the groups in between those two evenings. Sound like a plan?
Sounds solid.
I was looking forward to MW and would love to try it, but SoE sounds intriguing as well. In the interest of mixing up the groups a bit, I’ll play either of them.
GJ - if I end up in the SoE group though, you’ll have to promise to really run MW again sometime!
Edit: Uh, Alrik does that change the DW plans in any way? (Kaylossus not coming) On that thought, do I remember correctly that his character (the wizard) was petrified anyways, last we saw him? Seems like we’ll have to leave him behind for now, and continue on our urgent quest without him…
Looking like I most likely can’t make it tonight. Somethings come up. Have a great one!
As you killed the medusa Kaylossus (as well as the rest of the statues on the rooftop) came back to life… you might remember
We aborted the game at that point last week.
But I guess we could just continue without him. I would not like to wait with this for several weeks… sorry Kay, but I think you understand.
I’ll join the DW group this week, if I may… otherwise, COPS will be fine, but since I already know the game, I’m more open to discovery
If everything goes according to the schedule I’ll meet you at Spielbar at 19.30. But in case I don’t show up on time, don’t worry, I will come! It’s just that I will give a guided tour through our department this evening and I am not sure how “interested” (read: asking overly detailed questions) the others are…
I hope we can start on time, though! Looking forward to this!!
If it eases the integration, with pleasure
oh wow, totally didn’t catch that last week… ending was a bit chaotic apparently
… in that case, cool we got the wizard back… but hey wait - doesn’t that also mean we got an ogre and a hydra to deal with now??
(plus a bunch of other, probably very surprised and/or confused humanoids of all kinds?)
This promises to be a fun opening scene for tonight… ![]()
Good thing they’re busy holding up the roof! Let’s just question the medusa, and bolt down those stairs.
(Fighters, of course, can jump off the roof again to save time on the way down.)
Ahem.
Now where did I put that Turn to Newt scroll …

Hahaha…haha…ha…ha…breaks wand
Better than breaking wind!
And hey, I’m just jealous that I can’t do that. If my character jumped from a three Faldor tall building, I’d be a little puddle of goo.
I’ll finally be unable to attend todays session… sorry for this.
See you next week for a fresh start on one of the tables !

Oops - I meant the other wizard… what do we call the guys again? The ones who can also wave their arms around and make scary things happen?
Ah, “clerics” - yeah that was the word I was looking for!
(Int 8, what can you expect?
)
Thanking Simon again for a very fun game! And thanks to everyone for a fun discussion at the end.
I respect that people have different approaches, viewpoints and opinions and still are able to exchange them like proper gentlemen and without any hatd feelings (a lot of people don’t seem to get that disagreeing is not something bad these days)
Looking forward to next time!
Many thanks, Alrik - that was a fantastic game!
I’d love to play this again sometime … Perhaps entirely within a dungeon? That might be very interesting.
Thanks for the fun game guys!

Same here!
Yep, the game was awesome! Thanks again, Gerd!
And I’d be totally in on going back to Faldorstan!
