I have decided to run one of the adventures I’ve run before:

  • Dark Side of the Moon (A deadly Shar themed adventure about understanding and different views on things. Please no BG3 spoilers! I haven’t played it.)
  • An Interplanar Race on a Rickety Owlbear Cart (A more Comedy focused adventure about racing said owlbear cart)

If it comes to it I can also run and if people want it:

  • A Fairytale Wedding (T3-T4) (Oberon and Titania are marrying again and you are invited. Survive)

If you want to join me please write what you want.

Also I might be a bit late depending on how long work takes and if my train is delayed. Will update you if it comes to it.

All three sound interesting; Owlbear racing is random enough to try it a second time. Certainly no BG3 spoilers from me, haven’t played it either so far… :slight_smile:

For orientation purposes: what tiers/levels would “Dark side of the moon” or the Race be?

T3. Dark side on the mid to higher scale. Owlbear is t3 but can be rather wide because it is less combat heavy

I like to think that I’m quite experienced at the game. So if you want my help to create an overpowered character, you’re at the right address.

Perfect, since the utterly convivial character I’ll be bringing is literally my first ever DnD character. Its a SorcAdinChampLock who does not even exceed 500 average damage vs an AC 25 target in nova mode, thus I would require slightly above average rolls to one-shot even a Tarrasque. At least his sustained damage vs all AC, as well as his sustainability is quite acceptable :blush:

Just for the record I’m not playing an op or even optimized character.

No worries, you will be in great company. In my estimation, character power level is independent of epic tales being crafted and fun being had - provided everyone lives by “with great power comes great responsibility”, as it is the enjoyment of everyone at the table that should constitute the participants’ ultimate objective, not self-aggrandizement :crazy_face:

@BufoBufo I concur with Arthilas, Dark Side of the Moon and the Fairytale Wedding sound amazing, I would be glad to join these, if there is still space. :last_quarter_moon: :fairy:

@Arthilas I can relate, next week then. Love the mystery the poem invokes! Regarding character optimization, I am well aware, hence the not infrequent deliberations we have on this topic =)

@Arthilas @Mexikorn My apologies, it seems I did not suitably convey the facetious undertone in my previous posts, as I the character’s current power level is quite to my satisfaction :grin: I do very much appreciate the concern and the offers though =)

@Darthbinks Thanks for the rain warning :heart: This is excellent news though - melting as I step outside is not among my preferred states of existence.

(I could also re-run the T4 :skull: I ran 2w ago … not sure if I want to yet)
