Here’s a little intro for the Daggerheart adventure:
The roads through the Sablewood have grown quieter of late. A call for capable adventurers has gone out from the town of Hush, where several people have recently disappeared into the forest - including a party sent to find them. Whatever brought you to answer the mayor’s call, your journey brings you to Hush’s gates where you do not really know what to expect… but you’d better come prepared.
Content warning: mild body horror, expect creepy vibes (to battle the awfully bright days outside!)
Whatever took hold of the lands around Hush and almost consumed another Ancient Guardian of the forest: you successfully held the line against this force of evil! After your return to Hush, there was no more singing to be heard - well, at least not from the forest. Songs about your braverism shall be sung in the village for decades to come (or sea shanties, if you prefer ).
As a reward, the mayor will each give you one bag of gold and a necklace to remember your adventure by. It will serve as an Amulet of Recollection *) (Once per game, you can use an Experience without expending a Hope.) and you can decide its design.
*(This is only useable at my table but you can use it for any character you might want to create - just in case you want to try out different builds.)
