Since I probably can’t make this Friday, I will try to do Saturday at least.
Running: PasiĂłn de las Pasiones, the telenovela ttrpg. (yes)
This is a telenovela rpg, but since my experience comes more from the few American and a few more German soap-operas that my sisters watched, some tropes are more from this area.
This is:
Extremely high melodrama
Not too serious, the drama is more important than the logic
Low complexity (uses the powered by the apocalypse system, only need 2d6)
High chance of absolute insanity.
High improv and role-play.
Plot:
You and members of your local LARP group have met together on a remote local campground in the forest to have your last big LARP before summer ends. Camping troubles, the question of “who is the main character actually” and the dawning realization that maybe the biggest drama is not the game itself are inevitable.
This is a story about how sometimes defeating the big dragon is easier than remembering who was bringing the camping chairs.
