DIVE - a Mothership based horror-system about underwater adventures.
The Oneshot I’d like to run would be played in the setting of the game Barotrauma.
Which means: You are the crew of a submarine, exploring the oceans beneath the icy crust of Jupiter’s moon Europa. Most of your day to day is spent ferrying cargo and crew between the submarine outposts near the surface, while scavenging and processing whatever supplies you can find along your jouneys to keep the hunk of junk your boss calls a submarine from sinking to the bottow of Europas ocean… and believe me - it’s a long way down.
I’ll be coming as a player this week, so far still looking to see which table might need players so that I can fill in. Aka, cannot decide where to go because all offers seem so exciting so far.
I’m totally new to TTRPGs but would love to try it out and meet some cool people. I’d need help with everything lmao - but I’m happy to come try it out this Friday.

Hi there if you want a general introduction into what/why/how we usually recommend arriving at least 30 mins earlier, to create a character and get a short rules briefing (most of the rules will be explained during the game though)
A pencil and an empty character sheet are usually not a bad idea but that depends on the RPG-System you want to try out. As for dice - it’s nice to have your own set but not neccessary - you can just borrow some on the day.
So if you want to bring something I’d say:
pencil (or eraseable pen)
piece of paper (or a tablet or a printed character sheet template)
snacks and some water for yourself (the games last a while)
the biggest time sink in character creation is indecisiveness so as long as you have a strong idea for a character/archetype/vibe you’ll be fine. Also since it is literally a timehopping /dimension hopping type setting where you are from matters not so much so I highly encourage you to try building something already if you got the energy for it ^^
