The V.A.L.U.E. of Routines

:house: location: Die Requisite, Krummgasse 1A 1030 Vienna, Austria

New info for the space:

  • Entry is only 4€ per person
  • Space for 3-4 tables, chairs galore
  • Drinks are also 4€ each, but are not mandatory
  • Outside food and drink are welcome

We’ve also been asked that people limit gathering right outside the door as much as possible. Short smoke breaks aren’t a problem, we just don’t want to disturb the neighbors.

Post below if you are coming - all tables are open. Players of any level of experience are welcome.

Please indicate in your post:

  • Do you come to DM or play?
  • Which Tier is your game or character

Tiers:

  • T1 : levels 1-4
  • T2 : levels 5-10
  • T3 : levels 11-16
  • T4 : levels 17-20

will probably be there to DM and try out something different: a combat heavy and action packed adventure taking place in the one and only Ninja Gaiden game setting! hopefully I don’t get screwed over by ma35 by then

4 players max, T2 up to level 6, martial/gish characters preferred

The city of Tairon in the Vigoor Empire is covered by a wave of mounting evil. During the day, people walk carefully under martial law, but during the night, screams and garish sounds can be heard from the streets. The Dworku Monastery is enveloped with a sinister feel, as a winged creature soars among the skies.

experience an interesting and experimental take on combat with some additional cool homebrew, and you’re welcome to be as descriptive as you can with your sick moves as you hack and slash through your enemies in this good mix of modern, occult, and good old fashioned ninja action!

I will partake! Meanwhile will be listening to “Tairon at Night” ost to groove into the right state of mind.

addendum with new mechanics:

  • Dismembered: When below 30% health, enemies become dismembered. They lose half their movement speed and attacks against them have advantage, but their attacks have advantage and will deal more damage.
  • Obliteration Technique: When a melee attack roll lands against a dismembered enemy, describe your sick finishing move as you instantly cull them from this world!
  • Essence: Most enemies drop Essence when they die. It lasts until the start of the next round and any number of it can be absorbed as a Bonus Action to restore 1d4+4 HP per Essence absorbed.
  • Ultimate Technique: Instead of using your Bonus Action to heal yourself with Essence, you may instead use your Attack action to absorb it, zooming across the battlefield and unleashing devastating strikes (you forgo Extra Attack if you have it). Your next melee attack can target enemies up to 20ft away, gains a damage bonus equal to the ability modifier used for it, and can target an additional enemy per Essence absorbed (max 2). You move to the last enemy struck after this finishes.
  • Counter Attack: While taking the Dodge action, if an incoming melee attack roll misses you, you may use your Reaction to instantly attempt a melee attack against the enemy that missed you.
  • Flying Swallow: When you take the Dash action, you can make a melee attack roll targeting any enemies that line up within a horizontal line of your total movement, adding 1d6 of damage for every 20ft of movement, swooping through them and moving at the end of the line.
  • Reverse Wind: After taking the Disengage Action, your next attack has advantage.
  • Potions are drunk using Bonus Actions.
  • Initiative: DM and players each roll a d20, the highest roll moves first, then turns are alternated. Each turn, the corresponding party rolls a d4 to determine how many people act during that turn.

we got another one! if you could send me your character sheet so I can tie you in the setting I’d love it, but no stress if not.

I’ll be there, not sure at which table.

Will be there, would preferrably like to play T2

Unfort don’t have a martial/gish char atm and not enough time to make a fresh character

completely fine, if you have a lvl 5 or 6 character you can still join in and we make it work. like I said, “preferred” but not required. it’s mostly for the action but flavor is free!

Sorry I couldn’t do so on time, I’m playing a dex based, dual wielding elf paladin, slight rogue vibes. I know nothing about the setting but am happy to make adjustments

that’s more than perfect!

I’m gonna be about 20 minutes late, sorry
