Hello everybody, I never played DnD before but have been interested a long time, watched many campaigns on youtube of all sorts… I have been reading a few post on the forum aswell and it seems like coming to the V.A.L.U.E events is recommended for beginners. I would like to join as T1/T2, and would appreciate any advice you would have for me! Do I need to come with any material like dice, handbook? Should I create a character in advance or can I create it upon arrival? I see there is limited room for the players, can I reserve a spot in any way?

You can bring dice, but normally people enough dice to offer you some if you don’t have a set. We have a handbook there and some people bring their own. But if you want to you can bring your own.
If you want to create a character please read the V.A.L.U.E. rules first. If you have any questions about them you can always ask here or on the discord.
You can create a character in advance or at the location. But if you create it upon arrival please come at least 30 min earlier, as creation takes some time. A tip I have is to look around and decide what you want to play. At least in terms of species and class.
You can say which table you would prefer but some tables might have ongoing campaigns where previous players have preferred seating. But if someone does not show up you can always ask to take their place.
