PS: Decided to update it, since quite a few things changed - should be up to date now.
let me outdate it, id also like join Janlocks table
I’ll be rejoining for the second part of this campaign! cant wait
Hey, I got the message that 3 other people wanted to play at my table, yesterday morning. And couldn’t update because I was very busy yesterday.
I got a maximum of 5 spots, because investigations with too many people tends to not work as well. In an emergency I will take a 6th but only in emergencies.
Consiering the 3 and Istariel were first, I would ask @steven @flo60 or @FrozenKimchi to look for another table. I’m very sorry about this, But running for 7 people would be too much for me and also not fun for most.
@ThatGuyTed Sorry for the late message, but maybe you could still run something?
I’ll look through my notes. I’m sure there is something I can run - otherwise I could also simply do an improv heavy oneshot. ![]()
Okay I guess the easiest solution would be that @flo60 and I move since then it’s Istariel, +3 + @FrozenKimchi at your table if I’m correct. Where could we move to? We are both beginners so T0 or T1 would be preferred….
@ThatGuyTed is probably going to run something. If there is no other place I will take you in, but very large groups often mean Chaos and less time for each Player.
Sorry, didn’t log on the site for a couple of days. I have a prepared character and i’m down to whatever table at t1 can have me. so i’m flexible ![]()
Hey unfort I’m not feeling too well, so have to cancel ![]()
Hope you’ll be having lots of fun everyone
and I will try to join again next week ![]()
Okay, turns out cleaning up has left me more satisfied and with more energy than I expected, so if there’s still space, I would love to still come!
looks like you left out diaboloshunter who I had reserved a spot for..
I knew there was something! ![]()
Turns out I don’t do my best work while sleep deprived..
yeah I maybe should have counted the people myself will need to discuss this in person I can’t run for 7 people again <_<
Can’t make it today, something came up
Thank you for playing part 1 of “Murder on the Eberron Express” or “I can’t believe it’s not a murder motive”
You gain:
Short Recap
You have snuck/scammed yourself into the first class of the Eberron Express 81 from Sharn to Fairhaven. Your original goal was to steal the blueprints and the prototype of Egan Bakker’s newest invention he intends to sell to Jorlanna d’Cannith, a rival to the man who exiled Egan’s mother and spited him (Merrix d’Cannith).
You know Egan Bakker is an inventor and businessman with a successful business who spent the last 25 years having a company invested in weapon production and development and who heavily profited from the recent long war. Egan is also known for screwing over a lot of people.
You managed to get onto the train, the secluded first class cars and met several people. You figured out that Egan was a very unpopular person and many didn’t like him. From illegitimate children, unlucky spouses, cheating, financial betrayal and stealing work there are a lot of things. Additionally, you found out that there is a shapeshifting rogue on the train who might be impersonating one or more people.
And then Egan got actually murdered, and considering one of you was seen entering the scene of the murder, and leaving suspicious fingerprints. You are suspects as well. Next session you will have to solve the murder or handcuffs will wait for you at your destination.
See you in two weeks for more “Ups, all suspects”
Alright @CinderSage @raccoongoblin @snnTV and @Enusa my benign bounty hunters I hope you had as much fun as I did! It will still be a fair bit until we play again so i hope to see everyone back for part 3:).
Having tracked through the dry wasteland, encountering many a friend and foe, our bounty hunters have done a truly tremendous job. From chasing down that thieving rat, to befriending not one but two spirits and finally confronting the possessed and reanimated John and Jean, just for it to end so tragically.
With now only Lady Maye left on the run one bounty is left. One bounty more dangerous than all the rest. Will you bring her to justice? will you find out who is really behind this conspiracy? and will you finally overcome your fear of candles? Join again next time to find out;)
For now each of you get 25gp from looting the travelling circus and no additional gold due to your reluctancy to desecrate John & Jeans embraced corpses by returning them for the bounty. BUT you do get the choice of one of the following magic items.
Additionally you find the following Table Exclusive item
You also encountered Gorm who happened to be affected by some kind of Stupefying magic only having brief glimpses of his former self who during brief consciousness told you
“He (referring to the man with the candles) bears a smile that isn’t his. Someone gave it to him or he asked for it. I don’t remember. Don’t judge him too harshly.”

@JustJules @FrozenKimchi @GdKnght
Thank you guys for joining this more narrative and less joke-y session. (I didn’t know I had it in me)
For your stellar work in vanquishing the beast of Springs End’s forest you gain:
As well as one of the following magic items (provided by the Herbalist and the newly restored elven healer)
Homebrew Story awards:
Something is changing (@JustJules @GdKnght ) You ate a meal made with water from the nearby stream and are feeling its effects subtly influencing your day to day activities - for better or worse. At the start of a session, roll a d20 and note down the result. The next time you roll the same number on any roll of your d20, you have to re-roll. Afterwards - discard the noted down number until the start of the next session. A casting of Greater Restoration removes this effect.
A deepened bond (all of you) This experience has brought you closer together as allies and friends. You each gain 2 ally - points, which you may use to allow an ally to re-roll any roll of a d20. (each ally may only receive this effect from you once)
A sacrifice turned lifelong companion (all of you) You decided to spare the life of the owlbear cub and take it with you instead. While adorable, it is a very hungry companion, requiring 3 rations each time you take a long rest. If you fail to feed the cub 3 times, it abandons your group to search for food elsewhere. While traveling with you, the cub may help you in battle, as long as an ally commands it what do to as a bonus action, otherwise it moves to defend or feed itself. You may use this statblock for the cub.
Once your character reaches Tier 3, the owlbear is considered “grown up” at which point its need for rations increases to 5 per long rest and its statblock changes to one of a regular owlbear.
Do keep in mind that these rewards only work at my table - other DMs may allow them but please, do not expect it.
