STAR WARS - THE BLACK SUN WARRIORS

Star Warsin a wretched hive of scum and villainy.

The Characters are working for the BLACK SUN crime syndicate. Their mission is to fetch a large amount of Detonite from the Hutts and smuggle the goods past Imperial patrols into the Core Worlds.

  • Timeline: After “Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back”.
  • “Dirha” - An industrial planet on the edge of the Empire and Hutt Space.
  • Characters: … are working for the BLACK SUN crime syndicate. Although not all of them out of free will.
  • Space Ship: Their ship is a Xizor Transport Systems AEG-77 Vigo. This is a line of spacetransports, which had been refitted to be able to serve the purpose of gunships as well.
    • ( ~ slower hyperdrive than the Corellian YT-1300 light freighters, like Han Solo’s “Millenium Falcon”, but has slightly better defenses and is way better armed)

System: Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game (WEG)

  • far easier than D&D & Daggerheart
    • roll a few D6 … the higher the better
  • :game_die: dice needed: a few D6

Dirha

  • Astronavigation Data: Dirha System, Tharin Sector/Hutt Space, Outer Rim region
  • Grid Coordinates: S-9
  • Orbital Metrics: 413 days per year / 87 hours per day
  • Government: imperial military dictatorship
  • Population: 400 million (Twi’lek 62%, Humans 28%, other 10%)
  • Languages: Basic, Hutteese, Twi’leki, Lekku (non-verbal head-tail Twi’lek sign language)
  • Terrain: urban, urban ruins, urban caverns
  • Major Cities: Forge City (Capital)
  • Areas of Interest: Dirha Imperial Spaceport, Casino Valley, Durga’s Palace
  • Major Exports: chemicals, fuel, pharmaceutics, illegal goods
  • Major Imports: consumeables, minerals, water
  • Trade Routes: Sisar Run
  • Special Conditions: Arid atmosphere - especially in the deeper layers of the planet.

Dirha is a gritty industrial planet that was located within the Dirha system and lay on the hyperlane called the Sisar Run. Dirha served as a refueling point for starships that traveled along the hyperlane deeper into Hutt Space.

Once Dirha was the gem in the Tharis Sector, getting rich in crafting chemicals as well as pharmaceutics for the Core Worlds … but pollution and the corrupting influence of the Hutts had infected the planet a long time ago. Nowadays it is just a refuelling stop for traders on their way deeper into Hutt Space, although the planet has seen a booming illegal spice trade in the last decades.

Most of the factories of Dirha have been empty for a long time. That is why the arid planet is covered in layers of ruins. A large percentage of the Twi’lek population lives in those deeper layers of the planet. Once brought to the planet as corporate slaves, they have been left to fend for themselves since generations.

The Empire still keeps a comparably strong presence here, directly controlling the old Imperial chemical factories on the planet - at least those that are still running. Although a lot of the crafting of chemicals is now secretly dominated by the Hutts via bribery and blackmail.

Pregenerated Characters

  • SUGAR CANE
    • Human Smuggler
    • Owing a lot of money to the Black Sun crime syndicate this smuggler convinced his party to make this dangerous, but highly profitable Detonite smuggling run. He and the Bounty Hunter are old friends, hailing from the same orphanage and refering to each other as ‘brother’. They have been a team since their early childhood. Officially he, as well as the rest of the crew, is employed by Xizor Transport Systems, which is one of the fronts for the Black Sun crime syndicate. One of their first jobs was freeing a Black Sun criminal, a Wookiee, from Imperial slavery. When a Twi’lek slave girl helped them as well, he convinced his team to pick her up as well. Since then the two have joined his crew.
The Smuggler is very slick and tends to solve probems with his tongue and not his two heavy blasters - but he will not shy away from combat, especially, if it is about fighting for his freedom and independance.
  • MAXWELL HOUSE P.I.
  • Human Bounty Hunter
    • The Bounty Hunter once worked for the Rebel Alliance. Since fighting for ideals does not fill one’s belly, he was convinced by the Smuggler to work for the Black Sun crime syndicate. They hired him as a Bounty Hunter and sometimes he has to do extra “sidequests” - although they are often very dangerous, they pay very well and now the Bounty Hunter can efford a lot of beautiful gadgets.

Since then the two have joined their crew.
The Bounty Hunter is an unstoppable force of nature - both in combat and in personality. He still despises the Empire, although he does not work for the Rebel Alliance anymore.
  • BLACK CLAW
  • Wookiee Enforcer
    • The Hired Gun once worked for the Black Sun crime syndicate as a pimp, but one day he was caught from Imperial law enforcement and send to an Imperial prison facility to rot there in slavery for all eternity. Thankfully a group of other Black Sun operatives were tasked to free him.
During captivity he made friends with a cute Twi’lek slave girl, who helped him to be successful in his escape. He shared the view of the other Black Sun operatives to free her as well. Since then the two have joined their crew.
The Hired Gun knows how to inflict an enormous amount of pain in combat. Everytime it gets ruff, the party is happy to have him fighting on their side. Additionally he has been active in the Black Sun crime syndicate far longer then the others and so sometimes they come to him to ask him for council - which can be a little difficult at times - because as all Wookiees he is incapable of speaking the Basic langauage, although he understands it perfectly fine.
  • FOXXXY
    • Once a influencial princess of a Twi’lek Clan on their homeworld Ryloth. She was still a small child when her whole family was killed and she was enslaved by the Empire. As she rotted in Imperial slavery, she made friends with a Wookiee, who was a member of the Black Sun crime syndicate. After she helped him escaping the slave facility, her helpful attitude paid off, as the Black Sun operatives picked her up as well.
Now she part of a criminal gang of misfits, who do jobs for the crime syndicate. Occasionally she is asked to do a little ‘extra favor’ for their Black Sun bosses on their missions. It seems the organisation will never forget, that it rescued her from slavery - but at least now she can freely travel and explore the galaxy.
Her Clan is very common in these sectors - although most of them live in very poor conditions and many even as slaves.
  • DEATHSTICK JONES
    • Failed Jedi
    • As the Smuggler and the Bounty Hunter were looking for the cheapest Technician in this sector, they found this guy:
He is a wreck and seems to have been through a lot of bad stuff. He constantly drowns his past in Deathsticks … but he is a good mechanic and seems to know a lot of stuff about old technology and science from the days of the Old Rebublic, before the rise of the Empire. Sometimes he really gets weird and talks about ‘visions’ and ‘things he can feel’ … but he soon starts to smoke Deathsticks again, when that happens. They seem to help him to recover from his delusions.
…and it is true, that he is very cheap - one Deathstick costs only 5 to 10 credits on the black marked.

if you wants to choose another pregeen (I have a ton), just let me know

I’m severely interested!

I would take either Deathstick Jones or the Bounty Hunter, or something that would be similar to what I send you in private!
