Plans for this week-end

I can also offer Risk (Risiko) and Uno.

After a quick check, I found the following:

Universal/language free:

a Poker suitcase (two poker decks, 5 casino dice, 300 chips in 5 colors)

Wizard Extreme (card game for 3-5 players)

board games:
Qwirkle (a tile-laying game, 2-4 players)

Asara (a building game, a bit like Settlers. 2-4 players)

El Grande (I don’t know how to describe accurately. 2-5 players)

Indigo (a board game pretty much like Tsuro, but not exactly. 2-4 players)

English games I have:
Frag (in English and German, the shooter without computer! board game for up to 6)

D&D: Inn fighting dice game (a card and dice game for 3-6 players)

I’d really like to play Frag.
Qwirkle, Asara and Indigo are really easy to know the rules. Qwirkle is the quickest, Asara the longest.
Wizard Extreme is a game for poker playing folks. You need to bluff and tell the truth.
El Grande is the most complicated of the lot, but it’s not like chess or something. It’s a really nice, long strategy game.

A boardgame version of a FPS? That’s intriguing, I’d love to give it a try.

Asara also sounds cool and I would be also interested in Wizard extreme and Inn fighting…

Basically, put me at a table with gaming and a collection of junk-food, and I am happy as a clam…

What Simon said.

BTW, that does sound like plenty enough chips for a tourney. My offer to teach stays open.

If there’s parkingspace available I could bring most of the games mentioned above.

If I take public transportation, I will only bring Frag, Wizard Extreme and the Inn fighting game (if I find it…).

AmLash?

Sorry for posting so late, Diablo 3 fever got me  .

I can’t offer a parking space (second district), but I think you don’t have to pay on saturdays for parking (or am I wrong… ? I don’t own a car…).

So we meet between 14:00 and 15:00, so nobody is stressed. As I mostly drink water at home, I don’t have any drinks to offer, so please bring drinks, and if you want snacks.

Following games I have at my place:

Android
City of Thieves
Runebound *
Kittens in a blender
Starcraft *
Martian Dice
Black Stories 2 - Thanks Simon
Sake & Samurai *
Arcana
Legend of the Five Rings CCG Starter Decks

*-I’ll have to read the rules for that again, if you’re interested, you can try and find the rules online, so one of us is prepared ^^

This is true. Weekends and holidays are free.

Thanks for coming, it was to try out all the games!

It was a lot of fun, indeed!

Sure was.

@AmLash: I want a rematch in FRAG! (I got fragged 4 times. I killed him once, but it didn’t even count as a frag…)

Yep, Josip really did kick our bottoms!

Seems my old Quake skills have some RL use after all…
board games count as RL, right?

Yeah, I never played much Unreal Tournament…
