[One-Shot] Call of Cthulhu: Songs of Liberty, Songs of Ecstasy

Hey, I want to run a Call of Cthulhu One-Shot (hopefully it stays a one-shot) this month. No previous knowledge of the system is required, also the system is not as hard as DnD. If you are interested shoot me a message.

  • Title: Songs of Liberty, Songs of Ecstasy
  • Players: max: 5
  • Timeframe: round 1980’s
  • Location: Thebes, Illinois, USA
  • Plot Summary: You and your friends are returning home to your 20th high school anniversary, in Thebes, Illinois, a small town in with around 450 inhabitants. Together you want to get drunk and share stories and not remember that weird time one of your upper classmates, Sam Kingsley claimed she got visited by god and was then struck by lightning a few months after. That was a weird time, wasn’t it. But now wild wine and ivy rapidly overgrows her grave and a strange sense of madness spreads through the small town.
  • Content warnings: Teenage pregnancy (past), religious psychosis, madness, excessive drunkenness, music

Always eager to try out new systems. When and where is the question :eye_in_speech_bubble:

Hey, depending on interest and how many people want to join I look at either the week from the 27.04 - 02.05., or later after 08.05. Timewise afternoon would be ideal and I’m open to play either publicly in a cafe, park or someone’s flat. My flat would be possible but I have roommates who I “annoy” with my other campaigns already.

I’d be interested  I’m familiar with the system and love Lovecraftian mythos.

Depending on the time and location, I would give it a shot

Likewise! I’m extremely evening-challenged at the moment, but afternoons are mostly doable if I can schedule-tetris in advance. Looking forward to it.

So since we have six (maybe 7) interested people so far I will put up a when2meet up soon. Then we see when the best date for people is, last decision lies with me because even if I can do some days I might still prefer others due workload.

8! if I can make it, schedule is pretty tight.

If you can’t that won’t be a problem, so not stress
