Hey y’all,
My name is Pat and I am new to Vienna, moved here 2 months ago.
I am looking for some good RPG action, hopefully in person. I am planning to attend the Tavern Night at Open World on 11 November and surely will go to a VALUE one in the near future to meet people.
I moved here from Ireland with my girlfriend, where I spend the last 9 years, but I am German.
I have played a bit of 3.5 an eternity ago, before the Critical Role hype got me. I have a long running D&D 5E group with friends that started in person but is now online due to us scattering. This one I DM and we are down to two players, which we are looking to increase again. Problem is that scheduling is hard and we don’t know, if we will manage again before the new year.
As a DM I do High Magic D&D settings and prefer creative solutions to problems and a lot of Rule of Cool. I have been “stuck” with “old 5E” for now, since I paid a lot of money for all the stuff
As a player my favorite D&D class is a Bard.
But who says it’s just about D&D? Not everything needs to be Sword & Sorcery, does it?
I recently fell in love with systems likes Tales from the Loop and Vaesen. There is something about these that really speaks to me.
I have experience in the following systems:
- Shadowrun (Player)
- Warhammer 40K (Player)
- Bunkers & Badasses - The Borderlands TTRPG (GM)
- Starfinder (Player)
- Tales from the Loop (Player/GM)
- Vaesen (Player/GM)
And interested in anything and everything.
