New DM in Vienna, looking for players

Hi there, I recently arrived in Vienna, and I’d like to get one (or more) groups together to play DnD, Daggerheart, Draw Steel, or anything in between.

I’ve been playing DnD since 2006, and have been DM for almost as long, and I like narrative, epic, emotional stories with lots of fun and cozy moments sprinkled in.

I have a bunch of Campaign Setting books I backed on Kickstarter which I’d love to try out, such as Broken Weave, Obojima, Aetherial Expanse, Humblewood, Heart, but I like the classics as well such as Forgotten Realms and Eberron.

Let me know if you are interested, and I’ll organize a meeting where we can hammer out the details and see if we are a good fit :slight_smile:

Uuuu, welcome to Vienna, if you are going to get a group for a short campaign, I would be interested, got some free time on my hands, otherwise you can always host a game on the weekly VALUE sessions.

Hey everyone, thank you for your interest!

Based on the amount of people we might even have 2 groups :slight_smile:

I plan on putting together a meeting we can talk about what everyone is interested in experiencing within a game, when they are available generally, do a vibe check, sort of a session zero.

FYI my plan is to have a meetup next weekend in a café or board game place, and then we can talk about who is available when, and go from there

Oh right both is me, I made the green one on accident the first time. the one with Roebak as the tag is the on I use :slight_smile:

According to some conversations, the first game is going to be an Obojima game, which is basically Studio Ghibi RPG. If you are interested in this kind of game, let me know, if you would play something else, also let me know (we’ll make another group for that too)

I have made a Discord server so I could create a poll where we could vote on when everyone is generally available to play, andto see what worlds and stories we would be interested in, so I could create groups (and campaigns) based on that.
