Monday Night Call of Cthulhu

By popular demand … it’s a blast from RPGV’s past!

There’s been a lot of talk here about Call of Cthulhu lately, so this Monday, we’ll be returning to Spielbar for a rousing game. Drinks, conversation, almost certain death … if that sounds like your cup of ichor, join us!

No prior knowledge of the game required. All you need are percentile dice, a pencil and some paper.

Still room at the table - drop a post if you want to play!

A Cthulhu game at Spielbar? I remember that happening once or twice

See you on Monday

Drinks and conversation? I dont know… may not entirely be my cup of tea. But almost certain death? Count me in!

Hopelessness and despair? What a wonderful start of the week. Ill come

The characters might die, too!

When were you thinking of starting the game? @H

7ish?

Should be doable… I should be able to say for sure in a couple of hours. I certainly want to be there.

Anytime you show up is fine, Ted. Always a pleasure to have you at the table.

Quick request: could somebody print out half a dozen character sheets for tonight? On my way to an unexpected appointment and won’t be able to do so myself.

Thanks!

This should work:

Unfortunately I won’t be making it tonight after all. Have fun dying

Well, it might not be a Cthulhu game. It’s good to some of these games grounded firmly in reality. It’s far more interesting if the players aren’t sure whether anything supernatural is going on or not.

Even so, it might not be a Cthulhu game. I’m not a huge mythos fan, and these things tend to by inspired more by people like Belairs than Lovecraft.

Oh, one more thing: d6s! Bring some d6s for character creation, please. Always forget that part …

See you later!

Am I too early? Where is everyone :eyes:

Ill be an hour late. Should I still come?

On my way. Sorry. It’s been a day.

Sure. See you in a bit!

Where are you?

Thank you very much for the fun session guys. I had a blast!
