not really into horror at the moment,
so would offer a Romeo & Juliet inspired alternative:
T2
Two young paramours fled their feuding families in search of a fabled utopia. Now that the feud of a human merchant clan with high elf aristrocrats has ended in a truce, both families promise the reward of 15000 GP to bring their heirs back.
p.s.: every player character has a tie to one of the paramours (BFF, childhood friend, former study buddy from Magic University, etc.)
being interested in only the money (15k GP is a lot) is fine
having a positive connection with one of the lost paramours is nice (a negative one would not be ideal for party dynamics)
welcome
me (and others) can help you with character creation, so no worry
for clarification a new character for T2 =
level 5
staring equipment + 320 gp
one magic item from a list
bag of holding, +1 shield, +1 weapon, +1 wraps of unarmed prowess, +1 wand of the war mage, +1 all-purpose tool, +1 amulet of the devout, +1 arcane grimoir, +1 bloodwell vial, +1 moon sickle, +1 rod of the pact keeper, +1 rythm-maker drum, +1 dragonhide belt, insignia of claws, or any one Common magic item.
Hello! Thank U so much! Your all so kind @AGmilky helped me a lot yesterday to create my character and now Im ready for the Weekend! Maybe I need some help then by the playing then, but for the first, Im just very excited to join and play!
Hello everyone! Im so so sorry. My work goes longer as I wished today. It was my planing mistake. So I come late about an hour But I will come, for sure.
@BDave & @Disc
… you returned with & , although almost 2 years have past in the “real world” while you had been spirited away. The two families still keep their word and pay you handsomely.
You two gain 20 Downtime Days, can each keep 480 GP of the reward, and can keep ONE of the following treasures @Felecita gave you as a “goodbye gift”:
@Felecita & @sophia007161
Your characters stayed in the Garden and have an amazing awesome life there. Still enchanted you also do not age. The nice dryad couple teach you how to bake, and you even have a pet white drake (that once belong to @BDave). Warduke and Deathmage are frequent visitors to your cottages for awesome game nights. Rules-wise both your characters retire.
@AGmilky
After being no-longer a potted plant, Chime starts to actually like it in the Garden. Your patron is just a faint memory … and do you really need a weapon here?
After showing repentance the Gardener grants you the ability to “Wild Shape” into a potted plant at will, a form you actually start to find quite soothing. For some reason you are drawn to @Felecita’s garden .. it somehow feels like home.
… and maybe one day you gonna find True Love in this magical place too. Rules-wise your character retires.
If you play any character at my D&D 5.0 table, you can have a beautiful bouquet of flowers in your inventory. You can use this award with any character you play, but only once per game session. note: Once VALUE starts a new season (likely this summer) this homebrew story award ceases to work.
