Hey everyone!
I’m looking to build a roster of players interested in joining me for some Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4th Edition (WFRP 4E) one-shots. My plan is to run these semi-regularly with a party of 4-5 players as I get more comfortable with the system, with the goal of diving into a full campaign once I’m ready.
We are a mixed group of people (20-30 year olds) ready to try this out, and looking for a few more people to have a larger roster of players! Seasoned veterans and absolute newbies are all welcome to join.
A bit about me: I’m a big fan of Warhammer, D&D and 3D printing with years of experience playing & DMing D&D. The rich, gritty world of WFRP has always fascinated me, and I’m excited to explore it with a good group of friends.
Here’s a quick summary of the system:
Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4th Edition (WFRP 4E) immerses you in the gritty, dark, and sometimes hilariously absurd world of the Old World—a place where surviving another day is as much of a victory as defeating a monster. In WFRP, you play not as shining heroes but as flawed, everyday people. Instead of leveling up, you progress through careers and develop your skills—as rat-catchers, grave robbers, or unhinged wizards—trying to make it through a brutal and corrupt world.
The game’s unique mechanics blend high-stakes survival with dark humor, where a single roll can lead to epic decisive moments or a magical catastrophe. WFRP 4E thrives on the mix of grim danger and comic misadventure, capturing both the thrill of facing monsters and the unexpected laughs that come with everything going hilariously wrong. WFRP 4E is perfect for unforgettable dark fantasy adventures with a healthy dose of gallows humor.
If this sounds like your kind of game, or if you’re curious to try WFRP in a low-pressure, one-shot setting, leave a post here or drop me a message! Looking forward to finding a few more brave (or foolish) souls to join us!
