I’m planning to step into the GM role for a Pathfinder 2e one-shot. I have two friends who are new to Pathfinder joining me, and I’m looking for two more players to round out the group. Whether you’re new to tabletop RPGs or have experience with D&D or Pathfinder, you’re welcome!
This one-shot is a great opportunity to explore Pathfinder and for me to gain some GM experience. If everything goes well, there’s potential for us to start a longer campaign afterward, either homebrewed or based on published content.
Session Details:
Date: September 20 or 21 (to be determined)
Time: 14:00 to approximately 19:00
Location: TBD
If you’re interested, please send a brief message answering the following questions:
Play Style: What is your preferred play style (e.g., combat-focused, role-playing)?
Game Preferences: What are your preferences for the game (e.g., themes, tone)?
Expectations: What do you hope to get out of this session (e.g., fun, storytelling, character development)?
House Rules: Are you comfortable with homebrew rules, or do you prefer sticking strictly to the official rules?
Group Dynamics: What are you looking for in a group or GM?
Hey i was debating for some time now to switch from DnD to PF 2e. So this would be a great opportunity to try it, if you have me
One question though: are you really shooting for sun/mon or should it be sat/sun?
Play Style: What is your preferred play style (e.g., combat-focused, role-playing)?
Normally im leaning more into RP, but since it is a oneshot and we are trying to learn PF, i would say combat focused.
Game Preferences: What are your preferences for the game (e.g., themes, tone)?
Low fantasy (mainly in races - i normally play human and if i dm theres also a high percentage of humans. I dont know why, i just find some of the races “too silly”) My preferred tone is somewhat gritty with comedic relief.
Expectations: What do you hope to get out of this session (e.g., fun, storytelling, character development)?
Mainly fun and getting to know the rules/how to play along the way. No pressure on storytelling, but id like a good twist or two
House Rules: Are you comfortable with homebrew rules, or do you prefer sticking strictly to the official rules?
For learning purposes, id prefer RAW.
Group Dynamics: What are you looking for in a group or GM?
