Looking for Players – D&D 5e (2014) Homebrew | 18+

Hi everyone! :game_die: I’m looking to join (or help form) a Dungeons & Dragons 5e (2014 ruleset) campaign with a homebrew world. I’m extremely passionate about D&D—I love roleplay, character development, and being fully invested in the story and party dynamics.

Details:

  • System: D&D 5e (2014)
  • Style: Homebrew setting, story-driven with a good balance of RP and combat
  • Age: 18+
  • Time Zone: CET (European time zone)
  • Schedule: Weekend evenings
  • Commitment: Looking for a consistent, long-term campaign with dedicated players

I’m enthusiastic, reliable, and respectful at the table. I really enjoy collaborating with the DM and other players to create memorable stories and a great group atmosphere.

If you’re a DM looking for a passionate player—or if your group is missing one last member—feel free to reach out!

Hi, i am looking for a group to play. I send you a friend request on discord!.

Hello there,

You sounds like someone I would be happy to play with! I am a DM, I have been running adventures in a homebrew setting for my own family. I would be happy to run parallel to that another game for adults in the same setting.

As it is hard to know from the get go if everyone could fit a long-term consistent campaign, I would be happy to meet and start with an adventure of 6-8 sessions, that could potentially continued if everyone is interested.

A bit about me as a DM -

  • Story telling is probably the most inspiring aspect for me in DnD, as well as game design.
  • I also love the world building aspect, especially if players are interested to collaborate in relation to their characters.
  • I am a very visual person with background in graphic design. I really enjoy designing visuals for the game from spell and magic items cards to world and battle maps (I really enjoy creating combat maps that makes this part of the game tactically and strategically engaging).
  • I am a bit obsessive about details (in a fun way I guess?)
  • I am open for feedback and happy to improve my skills together with the players.
  • I like to guide games that have actual risks so I have added some homebrew rules around skills, death/healing and how to run combat (taking inspiration from BECMI version I played as a kid)

One note - I play with the 2024 rules. If you are open to that or for some sort of adaptation between these versions that wouldn’t make my life extremely complicated, we could play together

For our family game, I have build a DnD screen in order to be able to project combat maps for combat and other scenes, which is super fun but makes it a bit complicated to move around with it. So I guess if we play together, I would prefer to host the game at our place.

Our setup:

I guess that is enough for now. You can find me on Discord if you are interested: matan.levkowich
