Hi all, my wife, Sanna and I Ivan (24&25) are looking for a beginner friendly group to start our DnD journey with. We, like many others now a days, both got introduced to dnd with the release of BG3 and are now looking to get the “real” experience:) (german or english is fine, we dont care) We are looking for someone who is not against roleplay and embodiment of the characters (im a VA and love to do silly voices). Im not sure how or where to really start and where to get the basics for playing properly, but im open and hoping for some help from all of you:) Thank you all in advance, Sanna & Ivan

welcome both of you! I myself came from BG3 as well so I feel obligated to help

the VALUE games are always good to start with. they take place in 2 locations (Die Requisite in the 3rd district and WoWKeepers in the 15th) and you can check tables at the posts labeled V.A.L.U.E. you will also find house rules and character creation details. they are very free form and mostly one shots, so you don’t have to stick to one table if you don’t want to, and you can try out different characters and different tables at your leisure.
and roleplay is more than welcome, in my experience most tables encourage it even!
