In person DnD nostalgia

Hi everybody,

I’m Federico (M, 33), and I’m looking to join an in-person Dungeons & Dragons group here in Vienna.

I have previous experience with D&D 3.5 (played in person), Pathfinder, and 5e (both online). It’s been a while, but I’ve been wanting to get back into the game and reconnect with the joy of roleplaying at the table with others.

I’m open to both one-shots and ongoing campaigns in English, and I’m happy to join as a player. My schedule is relatively flexible in the evenings or weekends.

Most importantly, I’m hoping to meet some kind and fun people who enjoy storytelling, character building, and sharing a few laughs over dice rolls.

A few words about me: Italian :pinched_fingers:, geek/nerd/gamer :joystick:, software engineer by day :computer:, trying to build the next big thing in gaming by night :video_game:. Been living in Vienna for 6 years, happily married to a wonderful non-geek Romanian woman who supports my hobbies from a safe distance.

Welcome! We have open tables (mainly one-shots) every Friday at 2 locations in Vienna - look for threads called VALUE and sign up through the forum, that’s the easiest way to meet people and perhaps a campaign

There are many PLAYER or DM/GM looking for a group. It just is finding the right one.

The VALUE games each Friday are great for that. If you show up a few times and go for different tables you most likely find people who have similar expectations from the game and also similar understanding of fun.

Eventually you might find a group you want to stick with.

I can confirm that from personal experience and heard it from multiple people as well.
