18m, originally from eastern Europe, new to the city. I’ve had the itch to play some (any) ttrpgs for quite some time now without any real opportunities to scratch it. I’ve tried my hand at being the DM for some of my friends online, but my inexperience and the idiotic decision of writing the campaign myself led to the thing being underwhelming and dying quickly. I’ve got overall theoretical knowledge, but i believe that i really really ought to get some irl player experience in before i try something like that again. Even though i’ll probably be moving to a different city in about half a year, i’m looking forward to attending one of the open-table events here! (i have no idea how such gatherings function tbh

the open tables work super easy, there is a post for each location (one in the third and one in the fifteenth district) that goes up monday of the week in question. Then sign up for a specific table that’s being posted by a dm or just say you‘ll be there and we‘ll figure out where you play when you show.
Be sure to read our (dnd) house rules - for any other systems, just ask the dm of the game
