Complete noob interested in learning

Damn, because I am actually have already deciced on Arcane Sorcerer…because I want the freedom to cast spells I know, but have the added bonus of a familiar. I want an owl.

A sorcerer with an owl, do we have a Harry Potter fan here, or is this just a coincidence?

[/quote] Oh jeez was it really that obvious …I was open for other animals, but I like the owls bonuses best of all- plus I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan ( I even asked my man to take me to London to get the last book, best birthday ever). But I don’t think any other Pottery stuff would creep into my character other than that. I am currently devising a bit of back story…its coming along well I think.

I’m also a huge fan of the books and currently listening to the audio books read by Stephen Fry. Currently listening to Prisoner of Azkaban, and it’s still great after reading/listening for the sixth or seventh time now.

Oh I know what you mean. How many times have I read the books? I really couldn’t say. So many. I dont know what it was about it- I just loved them so much.

My back story is simple at best and I am still working on names…I will post something small sometime next week when I have got it figured out. But this is exactly why I wanted to start gaming, making up stories is fun! Plus I thought it might be a good way to meet some like minded people in Vienna. My husband is great, and he can goof off like a champ…but sometimes I travel to levels of geekdom where he just can’t follow if you catch my drift. So I am looking forward to meeting you, and am looking forward to playing.
