TL;DR I’m going to host a “Call of Cthulhu: Campfire Tales” one-shot. For atmosphere, the game will be held outdoors late evening.
Inspired by the Open D&D Table games I’m going to run a Call of Cthulhu game outside in the dark. In particular it will be a one-shot from the “Cthulhu Campfire Tales” book.
Outdoors? Yes, outdoors on some benches in a park. It’ll probably be Türkenschanzpark.
In the dark? The game will start in the evening while it’s still light outside. As the game progresses, the sun will set and give us a dark atmosphere. Light will be provided in the form of lanterns.
When exactly? Because of the setting we’ll need good weather, and because of the late start it probably shouldn’t be on a school night. I’m collecting a list of interested players, and I’ll look out for a potential date. I’ll then then contact the interested players to see if we can make the game happen.
