I’m an American relocating to Vienna this summer, and I’m happy to see there’s at thriving least one thriving TTRPG scene. I’ve been involved for the last 5 years with a local and growing scene in NYC, so this was one of the first things I started looking for once I found out I was moving for sure.
Anyway, about me: I have more than 30 years in the hobby, starting with BECMI and 1e D&D in the 90s, on through every edition of D&D since. I’m usually a DM so I can run what interests me, usually OSR and NSR games. My favorites these days include Cairn, Mausritter, OSE, Dolmenwood, and Dragonbane.
Looking forward to getting involved and hopefully finding a game to join or maybe even starting one.
My main group here has been going for 10 years, and we’ve played a mix of things, including a 3 year 5e campaign I ran for them. Presently we’re playing Shadowrun: Anarchy, and just switched to the second edition of that.
For a bit, I’ve been running “seasonal” campaigns from September to May, with a break for summer. The most recent one was Dolmenwood, which I’d like to get back into. I have many, many more systems, though. (Too many? Never.)
Once I get moved and settled, I’ll see if I can’t put together some one-shots for anyone who is interested.
