2nd edition is the best of them (then 1st edition), I used to have a huge collection of them, I have it all in digital now, but it is not the same, but travelling will do that. Hope you find a group.

indeed  2nd is the best but sadly ofc not that popular nowadays… i also have a few Digital on DmsGuild but i try to buy the physical copies (as many as i can :)). Right now i already found a group. They are playing 5th ed. Have a nice day and ty!

I think I will be ordering soon. I want to get a few of the Rolemaster Unified Hard Copies. I had the version before it, and it is an amazing system. But not to everyone’s liking.

hmm never heard of this but here is a game looks rly cool : Dungeon Crawl Classics. The whole game is brutal  you start with a 0 lvl “pesant” and if you survive the 1st dungeon you become an adventurer XD. Btw im also ordering a ravenloft supplement the islands of terror with a few forgotten realms novel

Dungeon Crawl Classics (DCC) is a retroclone, part of the OSR (Old School Renaissance/Revival) movement

basically it is a homebrewed BX D&D, but characters can get very powerful at higher levels … as opposed to e.g. Shadowdark, where monsters lurking in the dark are still scary at level 10

Hmm, so it seems this is one of those games that’s really fun when you play with low-level characters. The description says that every player needs to create multiple characters because most of them will end up dying anyway (definitely gives off a Dark Sun vibe  ). It’s funny that the character sheets are printed on scratch cards basically, it’s completely random what you get. Shadowdark has an interesting concept too: there’s no darkvision, only torches. The book’s art design is beautiful.

If you want level 0 characters but don’t want the funnel (or a retroclone), N4 Treasure Hunt is pretty good.

It sounds rly fun ty the module

Castles and Crusades is another option, basically a D&D clone.

yeah, there is indeed quite an amount of OSR stuff out there, with varying degrees of quality
