They sound interesting - I’d be in.
<— holy s***, this is awesome
Also, I take my previous message back. Seems I’ll be going away sooner than expected. Oh well, see you guys after the break!
Yes, yes and yes!
Sounds fun. Kerberos would be highest on my list as well.
Who’s going to be here next week? Will we have one table or two? I have a slew of games bouncing around my brain as well which I’d like to run in the foreseeable future.
Actually, since we’re already doing an informal show of interest, here are a couple things I’ve had on my mind:
Grimm. A fairy tale with a bit of a sting. And fluffy bunnies.
Blowback. A 60s story with a 90s soundtrack.
D&D. A brief prolog to a longer campaign.
Walrus. A 60s story with a 60s soundtrack. Includes a conspiracy or two.
I’d say I’ll be there but in the last few weeks that didn’t turn out so well so I’ll just say I hope I can make it.

Would Grimm be a rerun of an older Grimm game or would it have a new story? Nevertheless all the games sound like fun!

All of these sounds really cool. I like Walrus (my PC would be named Paul, for obvious reasons) and Blowback the best, though…
Also, I thought I had posted it… But I also have a game about explosions farting dinosaurs… (based on the book cover) that is inspired by the hit TV series “Primeval” that nobody seems to have ever heard off…
The setting is contemporary but with temporal anomalies. Could be fun too…
“It seems a shame,” the Walrus said,
“To play them such a trick …”
I’m sorry, I should have mentioned: It’s summer, so I’m going into re-runs …
(A couple folks mentioned they wanted to try this, and I’d like to see it in action without the timing issues we ran into last time.)
Hi all! I’ve been MIA for a long while but would like to join this week. Whatever we play is cool with me. Farting dinosaurs? Count me in! Also Grimm, and Walrus sounds awesome.
I mention Grimm, and here’s Cassidy! Coincidence? I think not …
Good to see you again.
Alright, based on the feedbacks, Kerberos seems to be the most popular option, so I will prepare that for this wee (and if I don’t run it Thursday, it will still be available later…)
Intwrestingly enough, it seems like this setting has been printed for no less than three different rule sets: the FATE system, Savage World and the One Roll Engine.
I nees to confirm that my book is indeed based on Savage World. If it is not, and instead pure fluff leaving me to choose, I might run it as a ORE game instead. Less confusion due to changing system and I could revisit some characters between games: immortal being that have been around since at least the Victorian times…
Funny how that worked out- Queen Cassidy knows all, and eats all….I would love some more Grimm, but not the same setting again unfortunately. I will just bring my dice and hope for explosive dinosaur farts.
Well, more people expressed interest for the Victorian Kerberos, so that’s the one I started working on.
Dinosaur games will have to wait…
We seem to be in that 6-8 people zone again. Should I plan on a backup game just in case?
I thought I was the back-up game?
Bit, yes, in either case, having two games ready is probably a good idea…
I am coming and bringing a friend as well.
Nah, you’re always the headliner. But yeah, let’s both plan on running something. I hope you’ll run Kerberos again sometime, though, because I’d love to try it.
Also, what’s with the “Walrus sounds great” comments? I didn’t even tell you anything meaningful about the game! I could say anything somewhat weird-sounding and you guys would be all over it.
How about this one:
Yubble. Inspired by Til Tuesday’s Voices Carry and something Philip K. Dick once said, possibly while high on acid. Set in the thrilling world of marketing or advertising or something like that. Runs on the H Engine.
Wanna play?
Anyway, you guys are nuts. And I mean that as a compliment. See you tomorrow!
The H engine…I’ve heard enough…I’m in
See? See!? Nuts, I tell you!
(Crud, now I’m actually going to have to run this …)
In all seriousness, would a kickoff at 8 or 8:15 tomorrow be all right? The US is playing Germany at 6 … (Anybody care to join me for this?)
See you tomorrow!
