…I’m not sure where I would fit in as I am not familiar with Pendragon and it sounds complicated. Is it? Also, I’m not so hip on playing a Knight, I prefer spell casters whenever available. Suggestions? Maybe I should sit this week out….
It’s actually not complicated at all. And it’s usually more RPGy than (e.g.) Pathfinder - so there is more talking than fighting. (There’s also no battlegrid and no elaborate positioning during combat)
Just give it a try
Well, well, well…
a) Yeah, I don’t want to kick people out, but if another game could be organized, that’d be neat, so that we don’t get too big a crowd… I mean, how many players are we?
b) As Tom mentioned, Pendragon is actually pretty rule light. And it is quite reminiscent of last week’s CoC…
c) I will re-read my notes and get ready for a Pendragon’s game, but might switch to improvized, depending of the mood around the table…
So i wont bring the CoC stuff then?
See i dont want to bring it without using it then… I’d also be completly fine with just playing i simply need to know…
Good question…
That’s up to you… I wil be DMing, so I wouldn’t be able to join, and I would like to play the CoC game…
But that just me being selfish…
-H- is also in the CoC, and he couldn’t join this week. I would like to continue it, but with at least 2 of the 6 original players missing out (H and Simon), I’m not sure if this is the week for it… (the characters all have relatively strong ties to each other, such as forex my actress and H’s char - it’d be a shame to miss out on that)
If all else fails, and no one else offers an alternative game to Pendragon, I can offer to run DW after all - but perhaps a different scenario than the one we already started with Simon, Chylli and Melchior.
Maybe a true one-shot this time, who knows? (One of these days I should finally manage to successfully pull one off already
)
I agree with Auburney, it wouldn’t be good to continue CoC with half a group… I’ll play whatever is offered. I’m still reading the Cardinal’s Blades, and hope I’ll be able to offer this in May.
Since weather changes bring pain and carrying stuff enhances pain i’m totally fine with no CoC
So i’d like to join auburney’s True one-shot maybe i’ll try rogue this time
Hi all, as suspected, I’m definitely out this week. Sorry for any scheduling difficulties, but at least this group never has a shortage of potential games to play.
Have fun, everyone!
Okay I will just come, and play wherever there is room, since there seems to be a bit of confusion about who’s playing what and where…se ya’ll later! And feel better soon H!
Yeah, come one, come all! There is a small kingdom, a haunted forest, and a sinister curse waiting to be confronted tonight… There is a small band of travelling adventurers, renowned for their bravery and wit… but who amongst them will have the mettle to face the terrors of the Gormendark - and emerge alive and well to tell the tale?
(comfortable with up to ~4 players, aiming for a one-shot, arriving at ~19.00 / 19.30… let’s rock and roll!
)
Oh, and -H-:
roll +Con to Defy Disease and get better soon. On a 10+, recover swiftly and miss no more games.
On a 7-9, spend a few more days reconvalescing, but then be as good as new.
On a 6-, well… we’ll miss you in the weeks to come… But I trust your luck with the dice won’t let it come to that
OOPS something came up
. See you guys next week then!
I am sorry to tell it that late, I won’t attend either.
See you all next week.

Seems as if this ain’t a good week for gaming cause I too won’t be able to make it today…
Sorry guys, see you next week.
I can’t believe what I’m reading on the board just now, 'cause something’s come up and I too have to excuse myself for tonight. Sorry guys for letting you know so late!
See you next week!
Ahhhhhh! What’s going on?
I’ll be there. No matter what. Actually I’m already within 500 meters of spielbar. so unless i get abducted by aliens or the sorts: see you on a bit

Hope everyone rolls better tonight!

I loled
So, in other news, no it wasn’t a one-shot (I failed yet again!
), but we managed to be enough people (GM + 4 players) to do some DW. Raiding the forest of the Gormendark in the service of Queen Millistria of Riverreach, to be exact. Apparently the monstrous abomination Princess Pallora is in league with the dark forces of the forest and attempts to overthrow the small, foresty border kingdom by raiding its villages, killing innocents and abducting children left and right…
To put an end to this unseemly state of affairs, our four brave heroes, Pendrell the elven Bard, Aranwe the elven Ranger (always with her companion bear), Brynn the halfling thief, and Barbozar the human Barbarian, have begun investigating the murders and raids - and even on their first day into the forest, have already made some rather disturbing discoveries…
[to be concluded, perhaps on a Thursday sometime in the unknown future, or perhaps in an out-of-turn separate meeting (perhaps on a Tuesday or Wednesday or something)]
Okay, point well taken - looks like we should start sending out the clerics for you if we don’t hear from you by… hm, say, June?
