Hi I will be there ! Maybe with my girlfriend too.
See you tonight !

See you tonight !
Aaaaaand I hate saying this, but I believe University will hold me back quite a while today. Not sure if I’ll make it.
Apologies in advance if it turns out I can’t show up. I’m still not 100% how long it’ll take.
OK, I’m unsure how to proceed now. Does it still make sense to run Grimm if more than one of last week’s group can’t make it?
Well, I personally don0t mind if you guy proceed without me. (I still hope I’ll get to make it)
Would the CoC playtest be an alternative perhaps?
Would say no
the CoC ? oneshot perhaps?
or should I dm something?
Probably too short notice for the playtest now. I know, I know, I usually treat preparation like something that happens to other people, but playtests are a different beast.
It’s probably best to go by the theory that if GJ’s doubtful he can make it, he’ll definitely be there, at least until further notice. Worst comes to worst, one of us can always pull something out of …, er, draw on our years of experience to provide a well-designed, carefully prepared gaming experience.
Or something like that.
now i’m confused… well i will be there and am open to any game… maybe not so much SW-related stuff…

ok
Isn’t it great that we now have a group with multiple games on offer? I can see us a couple years down the road browsing the tables at Spielbar while the DMs hawk their games. “Is the Pathfinder fresh today?” “Yuck, that Grimm looks like a leftover from last week.” “I’ll just squeeze the Dread tower to see if it’s a good one …” “Wait, are those old Iron Crown games frozen?”*
Incidentally, I have a 5 o’clock meeting of my own today, and since it shouldn’t drag, the odds are strong that I’ll be there early, should anybody wish to get a head start on making a Grimm character or simply shoot the breeze. See you tonight!
Have a good one tonight guys! Hopefully see you all soon.
In the place of a Dark Lord you would have a Queen! Not dark but beautiful and terrible as the Morn! Treacherous as the Seas! Stronger than the foundations of the Earth! All shall love me and despair!
All hail Queen Cassidy the First…Queen of Pain!
Thanks for the great game guys!! See you next week.
…and very hungry
thanks, see you soon
Hail to the queen!
Thanks for indulging me these last two evenings, and apologies for the timing issues and other shortcomings. For those who weren’t able to complete the journey, here’s a very brief summary of what happened next. (There’s a chance that I’ll revisit this one somewhere down the line, so I’ll put this in spoilers in case somebody wants to give a future, hopefully improved version of this a shot sometime.)
[spoiler]Yes, the kids did make it back home. Well, most of them, anyway.
After getting their bearings on the roof of the castle (or possibly the school), they set off to explore the realm of the King of Pain, travelling from high cliffs to the sea, from idyllic meadows to deep forests. On their way, they found a number of souls in need of saving: a fossil trapped in a high cliff wall, a salmon frozen in a waterfall, a blue whale beached by a springtide’s ebb, a butterfly trapped in a spider’s web, and a red fox torn by a huntsman’s pack …
They also encountered various people who stood in their way, including a pirate with a patch over both eyes, a mysterious skeletal figure, Midas himself, and yes, Alistair and Bertram, too.
The kids - being kids - found a number of quite ingenious (and entirely unexpected) ways of overcoming all obstacles, from the spectacular (that was quite a large tidal wave indeed) to the sneaky (poor Midas). They even found what was probably the bunnies’ one Achilles’ heel … and exploited it quite mercilessly.
Eventually, having saved the souls required by their bargain with the king, they made their way back to the castle and regained their own souls. That left only one small problem: they still couldn’t find their way home.
After much seeking, the intrepid kids again sought out the King of Pain, and struck another agreement: all but one could return home, but one would have to remain … and end the king’s reign by replacing him on the throne.
The kids are back home now, safe in their beds with the covers tucked just a little bit tighter than usual. All except for Cassidy, Queen Cassidy now, who stands high on her castle, the undying wind whipping at her face. Her proud gaze never wavers as she surveys the wondrous land, her land, while an all-consuming hunger like something alive and terrible, like a beast with sharp teeth and claws, knaws her from within.
Queen of Pain!

Thanks for the game! I had a lot of fun playing the somewhat unorthodox nerd
@Video: Awesome! I once ran a pathfinder game that I based on a song(Karma by Kamelot), too. Some stories just pop into your head when you hear a song, don’t they?
I’ll be there, next week, to play whatever possible. Perhaps finish one of the scenarios we started ? I’ll have H’s book and Chylli’s dice
Sounds like a rad session. I didn’t read the spoilers… so if you plan a re-run sometime, please count me in!!
I’m afraid I won’t be able to make it next week too…
Which brings us to the (near) eternal question…
What are we going to play next week? Alrick won’t be here, so maybe we could delay or return to Arthurian Britain until the week after that…
Apart from that, I can always improvize something if needed…

On our way to the subway -H- mentioned that he’d like to run a CoC test-run next week - IIRC.
The one he mentioned earlier in the thread? Yeah, I am still in, unless and emergency shows up…
