V.A.L.U.E. - Very Adventurous Last Unexpected Event - Friday

@green_destiny it will be T3, but we can make it work

If you have an idea of what you are interested in playing (class, subclass, species), I could offer you a pre-generated character and I’ll go through everything with you before we start.

Might be slightly more overwhelming than T0… but in the end it’s the same game mechanics!

If you still have space I’d join you.

No, it doesn’t concern me, and you’re right, I probably shouldn’t have answered any more than you should have asked.

I have no intention of denying anything, but instead I’ll happily say I’m sorry I replied again after the case was closed by Vishous.

However, I will point out that when you ask a question publicly, you will pretty much definitely get more answers than you want - which is why I suggested asking the question privately in the first place.

As for method: You’re 100% right. I will 100% stand by any DM making a choice to not play with any player, and I will jump to defend them when and if I feel that decision is being questioned. That includes you, if someone were to question such a decision by you.

Sure! Welcome!

There are 3 people now where I am not sure, if they will join. So let’s call it a full table now!

Cool, that’s exciting to hear!

Yes, I will come earlier and we’ll find out what would suit me and the group better.

Thanks for your offer, I gladly accept that (as I understand, truecrawl, who offered help earlier, would most likely be busy at that time). Then I’ll try to find you on place on the arrival.

I won’t be able to come anyways, so that’s fine.

I’m not sure if you’re still counting me, but unfortunately I won’t be able to come tomorrow. Sorry!

If I’m not mistaken, one person cancelled after you called a full table so would it be possible for me to join you?

Yes! Now we are completely full again

I am noticing a distinct lack of a PF table since recently. Thanks for letting us know Gnak, and have a good Friday!

Would anybody like to open up another table at Requisite or should I do it to catch the freefloating players?

Linn, Sty, Esmodius, Mya, and Elias - after playing with a baby white dragon and thereby convincing Mr. Valor that your intentions were pure, all while healing the injured and helping the citizens promised to death pass safely on into the next life, you managed to procure the mirror shard touched by the astral sea, the phoenix’ final death’s ashes, and and the rot blossom’s orchid’s petal. Luckily for you, this made you quite protected from serious effects that might have meant your end on the elemental plane of fire. While some of you chose to wave at creatures approaching, some of you chose to hide, all of you at some point chose to fight - and you took down Lord Vosphorus, returned his heart to Vajna who destroyed it, and will be forevermore celebrated as heroes.

For all of you, the desctruction of Vosphorus will mean there will be festival in Denmarsh in your name, called the Corn-festival, as the market stand man remembers your interest in the crop. You will be honored by bards and even the Waterdeep City Council.

For your troubles, you are paid 3000 GP and gain 20 Downtime Days that you can spend to your liking.

You can also choose one of the following:

Thanks for joining my T3 voyage, I had fun and learned lots and hope you did too. See you soon!

My sincere thanks go out to @Myrm @Istariel and @Arthilas for not only taking part in the adventure but also playing well under the stress of a deluge of information and the dire straits the setting of THE NECESSARY EVIL provided. You made for an interesting and humorous ride.

The beautiful festival of the valley was cut short by invasion. It was a concerted effort by many different parties, multiple of which you met today. Thousands died, stories untold and hopes scattered to the sands, but what needed to be done was done and thus Egypt is still there as a bastion against ill will and coveted by the envious and the selfish.

You saved a war-survivor and put her on the throne. You entered a desecrated home and uncovered who conspired with the enemy all the while appeasing the house spirit. You gave peace of mind to an ever faithful sod who was a mere plaything for the powerful at work (and were invited to his home for it). You reinstated rule and caused the invaders to perish. And yes, you even managed to win against a cat in Egypt.

Well done, adventurers. You may take up any office or station within the Kingdom, as the Pharaoh expresses gratitude over having picked up the slack when Thebes almost fell to dark machinations. Pick your favoured occupation and establish your holds. You’ve earnt it.

REWARDS: 480 gold pieces and +20 downtime days are yours to keep or spend however you want. You get to pick one (1) item from the following list as your trophy from today’s ordeal:

I hope the turmoil soon settles and you want to tread upon the sacred ground of Egypt again in the future. There are many more story threads going on in the Jewel of the World a.k.a. Egypt. Dangerous as it may be, discovering the mythological truth has bountiful harvest for your memories and treasure chests of stories await those with a want for the exotic.

You are dropping too many rare items for a T2 game. Please adjust that

Here are the new house rules

Ah. Still need to get used to this. Thank you for the input, BufoBufo. I’m correcting the reward tally now.

2 uncommons, 1 rare and 1 consumable rare should be good.

Thank you all for playing another story from Aetheria!

Vasora isn’t a safe place, but you all managed to make it a little safer! Extraplanar beings seem to be not always evil.

After you defeated what you called a were-tree, the area seemed to be completely drained from all life. A short rest later you started to see birds of prey picking the dead fish from the lake’s surface. It won’t take long for nature to reclaim this spot.

On your way back the protective barrier of spirits was gone, and you made your way back to the dwarven mine without issue. The dwarves more impressed by your survival than by the task you did - give you each a pile of gems (you may select a variation of gems to a total value of 3200 GP).

Heading further back is a little more tricky, as more of the creatures affected by the hunt seem to gather in the area. You sneak past the biggest of them, outrun the smallest and with your combined powers fight those in between. But finally you make it back to the forest you came from.

Marcus, looking a lot better and definitely less mossy, welcomes you and tells you that a nomadic group passed by and left two freshly made cloaks for you. In the meantime he even was able to craft a wooden ring, which should do what Eldric described.

You spend a night at this eerie clearing, your sleep disturbed by Cass’ battle noises, whenever something passes through the rift. In the morning Marcus starts sending you off to your home planes… or wherever you wish to go, his collection of planar tuning forks is considerable!

You all gain 20 downtime days, you may choose a consumable item between a dose of purple worm poison (Purple Worm Poison - DND 5th Edition) or a potion of flying (Potion of Flying - DND 5th Edition).

You may also choose one of the following itemes:

Thanks again - see you next time
