Sure, I am happy to take you on . As others have said already, if you need help with your character still, just be a bit early and I can help. Just bring a character sheet (or use DND Beyond), and ideally have an idea what you would like to play
I forgot to sign up. I’m also joining
Hello.
I think I would like to join the Seafaring Adventure too.
Cool, cool. Then I’ll bring a macabre-fun Wizard to the game. Is Lantern of Revealing okay to bring or does that infringe on the material? (would use it to facilitate jump scares)
cancelling due to being ill
I’m fine with running something if the Pathfinder peeps are good with playing 5e.
I’ll unfortunately only be about 15 mins early. I hope that’s enough? I think I have it mostly figured out
@Atanen @truecrawl @Lemonie @Lux_Tenebraeque @Dharaxas Thank you all for playing at my table and bearing with me till the end!
Being hired by Dursten, you managed to successfully retrieve some historically interesting items from the bottom of the sea for him. After being shipwrecked, you decided to explore an abandoned hut and learnt some of its secrets. After struggling with both very slippery rocks outside and a strange distortion magic on some doors, you managed to fight and subdue the cursed spirit long enough to complete a ritual to finally set her free. All that remains is the blue gem from the ring which was worn by Lilith. It was infused with some residual magic and glows gently with a cold, bluish light (this acts as a Driftglobe, which you can keep as a magic item). Dursten is very excited with the items recovered from the sea (especially the ornate hand mirror seems to intrigue him…), although he is not sure he believes your wild tale. He is happy to pay you all the agreed on 100 GP per person.
Here a summary of the rewards you can take:
- 20 downtime days (check what you can do with those here)
- 100 GP from Dursten
- Driftglobe
- 1 Potion of Greater Healing (that was left from the secret room you found)
Since nobody else replied to this so far, I will. Thank you for running this game, it was delightful to play through. Put a notch in your belt for having successfully guided the party through a house-crawl.
I liked the mix of mystery and red herrings while fighting the evils that be. Our goofing didn’t derail the mission, which was great to see. Yes, the missiongiver was upset with my character, but then again: we now own a "water"colour painting to remember the harbor by and we did what we were tasked to do. So Dursten can be cranky all he wants - we completed his expedition all the while acting like menaces to society, which is an added plus in my book.
Would gladly go seafaring again. I rate it 1 severed hand and a bottle of wine out of 10.
RIP Lilith
I’m planning to reply since friday, let’s see when I can get to it… #nostress
Good morning! Sorry for the late reply. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the awesome game; I enjoyed it very much! I really liked the story and the flow of the game and while it ran long it didn’t feel long. Thank you for making me feel welcome and comfortable in general! I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience
