Congrats on destroying the Emerald Golem, you decided to scam the secret dwarven sosciety out of the doomspider and will be able to access it in my T2+ games.

Thank you very much for playing what Iā€™ve named ā€œThe umbrella preludeā€ (my brain decided on that name after the session). Iā€™m sorry we couldnā€™t finish it this week but I will be there next week to DM the continuation which Iā€™m tentatively calling ā€œThe Thunderstormā€ (it was originally gonna be ā€œThe Relayā€ but for some reason I think the new name fits better).

Anyhowā€¦ as you didnā€™t finish the quest yet you wonā€™t get any gold but you still receive 20 Downtime days as well as ONE of the following magic items provided by Kishka - the local priest of Boccob:

  • Fochlucan bandore (she felt inspired by the new song about the quality of her magic items)
  • Javelin of Lightning (the idea for this item just popped into her head for no particular reasonā€¦ right?)
  • Headband of Intellect (Kishka had already made a couple of these to try and help the town but they kept insisting on selling them rather than using them)

You also get to keep your magical umbrellas as a homebrew story award - at all tables other than mine they only count as very fancy but otherwise non-magical umbrellas.
