@Avallona @Bearberry @JustFelix @Samgiblett @ThatGuyTed Bravely, you ventured forth into the cave of the beast, even as time itself morphed around you. It might have been by a divine miracle that you all made it out alive, but… hey, that’s all that really matters in the end, right? The people of The Spring of the Night are grateful for all you’ve done for them, especially for managing to rid them of this curse from the past.
You all receive:
- 450 GP from the oasis inhabitants
- 20 downtime days
- the magic item from the presents you chose (a Dragon Vessel (Stirring) for Bragg, Deline, Boethius and Schwarz and a Dragon’s Wrath Weapon (Stirring; Fire) for Josh)
- a packet of Dust of Disappearance
Furthermore @ThatGuyTed, you receive following story “award”: The Mark of Ilmater - You may have been allowed to return to the land of the living, but even such a short brush with death comes with a price. You become hypersensitive to creatures dying around you, giving you a headache whenever a tiny+ size creature dies within 60 feet of you. This headache causes you disadvantage on attack rolls during your next turn. If you are the one to strike that creature down though, you have to succeed on a DC15 wisdom save or take the same damage as your slaying strike did; half on a success.
I hope you had fun playing!
Edit: I made an oopsie with the item drops, so @Bearberry I hope it’s okay if Boethius would take a dragon vessel too instead of the focus
Sorry for the late reply, but thank you to @FrozenKimchi @Generalhggy @snnTV and @raccoongoblin for playing at my table.
Mr. Nostros is most pleased with your last scouting trip to the abandoned mining village of Vermillion. Now that the threat has been revealed, he will send out a team of fae specialists to make sure the town is safe before proceeding further. Reginald is also thankful for not just solving the mystery of his former home, but also visiting his wife’s grave. Maybe now, he’ll be able to go himself. The McGillicutty Family were rather nonplused about the news of their ex employees, especially since the only surviving one has decided to switch employers; something about healthcare coverage.
Your Rewards:
- 160 GP
- 20 Downtime Days
- Your choice of either a Cloak of Protection or a Goggles of Night
Story Rewards (Only applicable at my table):
-
@snnTV Demolition for Dummies There’s now an opening for the next beginners’ explosives course. Taking this course for 5 Downtime Days would allow you to purchase dynamite from the bursar.
-
@raccoongoblin Stayin’ Alive You have lived through many things that have frightened you; maybe not others, but definitely you. If you become frightened or confronted by a fear, your proficiency bonus for Performance checks is doubled for the remainder of the session.
Thanks for the great game!
