Unfortunately the Atlas is overpowered (it’s a Tech 3 mech), but I can design a Hauler + Mule combo if you would like?

Would you like to build your own character or one I can bring?

“Ekhale” is checking in from today, thanks for the lovely session, @katnyx and everyone who participated, it was so much fun!

Couple of things from my end:

  • Sorry for moving away from the table several times at the end, had to arrange a cab back home with my wife, cause we only have 1 key to our apartment at the moment :')
  • I’m off between 22-28, so I’m not going to be able to come next week if there’s a session :cry:
  • I forgot to donate in the beginning - can I “Revolut” someone who is managing the finances for renting out the place?

Scorch, Marik, Aldo, Paulpin, Istan and Ekhale really WERE the bravest and best adventurers the Merchants of Slew could possibly hope to find. Not only did you steal the enchanted crumpled up paper and arrive to find an already dead giant toad, but you one-shot the creatures that killed it AND even took out the infamous pirates known as the catapult crew as well as some Blackrift Warriors - all while avoiding detection by Cendrail and the Alabaster Academy.

Your ship is now sailing for the Blazing Isles.

  • You gain 75 GP from the Merchants’ Guild for bringing proof that the giant toad was dead (though some of you spent that money on the potions of healing)
  • In the equipment provided by the Merchants’ Guild, Istan finds 15 Javelins. There is also a shield, a +1 dagger and a Guardian Emblem. → you can choose to add 1 of these to your permanent inventory.
  • With the time that Magnus and Marik have together, Magnus confesses he believes the compass has other magical powers, but isn’t skilled enough to really find out. He also shares some information about the pirate treasure with Marik.

Everyone gains 1 level if they so choose, as well as 10 downtime days.

That concludes box 1 of dungeon in a box: Star Tide - Voyage of the Fallen Star. . Box 2: The Blazing Isles - Voyage of the FAllen Star - will start two weeks from today. Thanks for playing everyone, I had a blast and hope you did too!

Well done Salvagers! @krakentoa @jboimler @Col_Mustard_Ret @Anabel @blueblaze, Ghost on board the Ceres is very proud of his pilots. Not only did you find the second Rainmaker key, you also recruited Old Sand and his Tech 4 Paladin mech (that only he can use), and found a Tech 2 Hussar (Contour Pattern) with its unwilling pilot recruit!

In total, you salvaged 6 Tech 1 scrap and 10 Tech 4 scrap (with 6 dedicated to building in Old Sand’s house to the crawler). In choosing to upgrade the Crawler to Tech 2, your are left with 17 Tech 1 scrap (3 was spent on upkeep) and 4 Tech 4 scrap.

In your 1 week downtime on your way to The Wild Hills, you recover all hit and structure points, remove all stress and heat and are able to gain another core ability (with Old Sand on board, you are able to take max 1 from the Soldier tech tree). @Col_Mustard_Ret, I will allow you to learn 2 additional abilities instead of 1, as the pre-gen characters seemed to start with additional abilities.

You are now also able to craft any one system or module of Tech 2 or below each, as long as you have enough scrap to build it according to their salvage scrap value. With the scrap above, you technically have access to 17 Tech 1 scrap and 16 Tech 2 scrap. We can discuss how you would like to divide it (and who would like to drive the Hussar next time). The Hussar has the following kit:

Systems: Green Laser, Chaff Launcher, Ejection System, Locomotion System, Refractive Shield Projector

Modules: Comms Module, Pinpoint Targeter, IR Night Vision Optics

Fyi: I checked up about the stress of the pilots and found the following bog post

So it was in a previous playtest version but was cut from the end game.

Sign me up for game 2! Which likely will end up being more stressful (in a good way) without “stress” xD although I just read there’s three (background, keepsake,moto) that can be used to reroll?

I really enjoyed it! The game has such a different feel to it, and such distinct classes and made for a very entertaining evening. Thank you! Happy to join next time if it is manageable timewise - so many different great tables here! :blush:
