Is it possible to play the new 5e class the Illrigger?
Its the first MCDM’s class for 5th edition.
@turtlene - five is a good number, welcome aboard (note, 5 not a cap, I can take more)
@Atanen - this will be T1, your lvl 0.9 guy should be fine
@Dharaxas - fire genasi is no problem. If you want to bring an illrigger, as long as that knight of hell is happy to be doing stuff that looks like regular hero-ing, happy to have them at the table.

Usually, 3rd-party-material isn’t allowed at VALUE tables tho, which the Illrigger falls under. Just a warning for the future @Dharaxas
Yep, my accepting an Illrigger is not saying illriggers are now acceptable under VALUE rules.

That was my question! Just a question! If it is possible? Not only at tonights table.
Its a new official class. So I dont know if it is allowed for Value or not.
It’s not possible because VALUE doesn’t allow third-party material, and the Illrigger released as third-party material (aka it wasn’t released by WOTC, but someone else, in this case MCDM)

the lllrigger is not ‘official’ since it has not been released by WotC
this class has been released by MCDM, which is a 3rd party publisher
it is available on D&DBeyond though,
as are others such as:
- Humblewood (Hit Point Press; 3rd party)
- Tal’Dorei Campaign Setting Reborn (Critical Role; 3rd party)
- Book of Ebon Tides (Kobold Press; 3rd party)
that being said … some DM might allow such a character on their table individually
but that would make such a character only playable on that DM’s table
p.s.: since this came up once … Reddit, Unearthed Arcana, DNDwiki, etc. are also not WotC official content

So, uhhhh… I’m already at Requisite (because I way overestimated the time I need to get there), and there are people here? Set up with colorful lights and music from what I can tell from a few small glimpses? And they blocked the door windows with some styrofoam and uh… Yeah… Idk if this means anything, just thought I’d give a status update I guess
