Info:

  • No entry fee, but this is a restaurant, so consuming at least a beverage is expected
  • Bringing your own food and drinks is NOT permitted
  • There might be other guests, although it is typically not very busy on a Saturday noon
  • We should reserve tables a day ahead or so, but even if not, it should be fine

I might run something, since I’m not attending pride (big crowds and loud noises are too overstimulating for me and give me anxiety :pensive_face: )

Might run something in the Eberron setting for dnd 5e.

Tier: T1 or T0 (Level 1-4)

Style: Detectives, Investigations, Criminals

Session: Zero Day

Plot: You and your friends are the owners of “Finch & Partners, Investigators”. Technically owned, since the original owners have disappeared months ago and you just took over the office since it has a license and the bank account connected still funds the rent. Perfect for your little business of solving small problems in your neighborhood and trying to keep a good and somewhat legal life in the lower levels of the city of Sharn.

But then suddenly you get names of people. First you think it was a strange joke, then two weeks later you get another batch. Then you see the name of two of these people in the papers because of a murder case. Maybe there is something to these names. But for the next month nothing new comes.

Then yesterday night, a new packet has appeared. Will you investigate to see what is going on?

The setting:

We are playing in Eberron again, specifically the biggest city on the continent, Sharn. The city of towers is similar to New York, full of extremely high towers, stretching up to a mile high. All sorts of people live here with the richest on top and the poorest in the depths.

The year late 999 YK. The great 100 year world war that ravaged the continent has been over for about 3 years. Many people have been displaced and are rebuilding their lives after destruction.

You are a group of those who survived, or grew up with the war. Not wealthy, or formerly wealthy, or maybe just not considered a citizen. You are trying your best to build a life and make some money, and not get dragged into the local fights between crime families.

Generally you can play any class or race/species but there might be some adjustments and some more specific species might not be considered citizens (but that is not a problem in the district you are living)
