We decided to finish the rest of the escape from the temple next Thursday. This is some bigass dungeon!

It’s just an itty bitty little pyramid. A mere stroll through the park…
Anyway, yes, this will be tonight’s appetizer. Once everybody has died in horribly grue… er, I mean: once everybody has happily made their way out of this pleasant place, Simon will provide the main course.
Next week (wait, we’re actually planning ahead?) I’ll run a little something appropriate to the season on Wednesday. And looking toward November, I’d love to get back to Apocalypse World (and so would Ruth). I’m also very much looking forward to GJ’s locked room…

Whoa, sorry guys! I was seriously convinced it was Wednesday yesterday - and promptly planned a dinner with friends instead of joining for the pyramid escape as I should have! Shame on me!
So how was it? Did all of you make it out in one piece? Or at all?
Next Wednesday sounds fine - better than Thursday at any rate

Time for a brief epilogue …
Yes, everybody made it out in one piece. Except for Alrik’s cleric, who made it out in two.
The journey home was uneventful, although several of the heroes noticed strange welts and ugly boils sprouting on their bodies. Fortunately, the party still had enough magical healing left to save most of them.
And of course, the heroes did escape with quite a bit of treasure. Unfortunately, something within the pyramid wanted that treasure back. Something with silent wings and jagged teeth, and the patience to wait for the perfect moment to strike, and tear open a throat while its victim was still dreaming peacefully …
But that’s a tragic tale for another day. Good night, everyone - sleep well!
