Drinks, conversation, and ... Space Station

Sokunfs great. See ya!

I’d like to join you tonight, if that’s ok with you.

Cool by me.

That makes it, what, five players? Five is good.

See you tonight!

Super bonus happy fun rule for tonight: Anybody who mentions “Windows 8” immediately loses 1d6 hp.

I am absolutely not kidding about this…

So you are doing this weekly? I would like to come next week, as I didn’t read the invitation for yesterday soon enough. Would that be ok?

No problem!
Normally, I mentiomed running 5th Edition D&D next week, but with H and Tam being otherwise occupied, maybe it would be better to postopne it by a week, what do you guys think?

I think “Great!” I’ll be back on the 18th and can make it on Wednesday or Thursday that week, whatever you prefer

Bacci

Yeah, let’s postpone it. It’s more fun with the whole party at the table.
We could play something else next week instead.

Sounds like a plan. Anybody wants to DM then? I can try and improvize something… Could be a good excuse, I have been wanting to see how well I can do at improvising foa while now…

Anyone into superheroes? For this (smaller) group size With Great Power works quite well. It’s a more Marvel-ish approach to comic heroes. If you like I can DM that. But I’d be up for Simon’s impro too.

Sounds cool. I’d be in on both - improv and a superheroes game.

Big fan of super heroes comic here. I vote for that!

Ideally; not on Thursday, 'cause I’d like to go see the movie (cf. Tam’s post)

i’m so in. what day would everyone have time?

I’d prefer this Thursday. But if Simon is going to see the movie, wednesday will be fine with me too.

I’d prefer wednesday as well. 7 again?

That would be great!

wednesday it is!

Well, not sure whether I’ll be here or not. But in any case, running 5th ed. when I’m not around might not be a bad idea.

For one thing, I’m familiar with the adventure, unfortunately, which is fine for a one-off playtest, but not so good for an extended campaign. It’s been years and years since I played it, but I’m afraid those braincells aren’t dead yet. And yes, I do find it a bit disturbing that I can hardly remember my own phone number, but I still know what bree yark means…

Besides, I’m afraid that 5th ed. just isn’t for me, and that I might not be particularly good company while playing it. It was awesome to try it out, though - thanks, Simon!

Anyway, super heroes sounds fun. Hope I can make it…

Great. Looking forward to see you tomorrow!

One request: Could any of you bring some standard 52-poker card decks WITH three jokers still in? That would be perfect. I only have one left… don’t know where the others are. We will need 4 decks total. Thanks! But you can leave them dice at home…

Hey guys,
thanks for last time. That was fun despite the few disputes during the game. I’ve learned a lot with respect to the pacing of scenes and stakes. In some of my past groups where everybody was interested in the metagame aspect of setting the stage and the conflicts from a director stance that was ok. But I can see that this might be a little tiresome for others. Unfortunately we didn’t manage to play through the story arc as a whole, but the evil mastermind Perjury was only beaten, not killed. Who knows what vile plan is forming in his malicious mind while the Heroes of Justice imagine Tomorrow City to be rescued once again? Maybe we can continue this some time…

So, what’s going on this week?
